I was on board till the price. I’ve had every generation of the flagship iPhone since the 3GS, most got on launch day. This one is giving me cause to pause with that sticker price on the plus size version. I don’t think I’ll be getting it on launch day. I might wait till the Google Pixel 3XL is released and choose between iPhone and Pixel then.

talk about pricing NUTS....seriously a minimum 256gb is what you need these day...who still do 64gb base with all these HD videos and HD photos? IXs Max is $1300 + tax?? god damn...they're are crazy.

if you compare the specs with the X last year, same thing except for the A12 chips which isn't worth it at that price.

i'll keep my IP7+ for another year or two.

I saw... Seriously can't believe there is now an iPhone that's $2000 before taxes.

It does seem crazy but it was inevitable...they raise the prices and they still flog them. You have to wonder what the price ceiling ultimately is going to be or if there even is one. I can't wait to see what the 2 year carrier subsidies are going to be. They're already getting obnoxious.

They want to sell you icloud storage plans and have you keep more of your pics and such offloaded with the high res version on icloud. It actually makes sense to price things that way then, push more people to the cheaper phone + a permanent monthly plan

It will be interesting to see how non-tech customers react to this. I don't like where pricing is going because others do follow apple's lead. I don't see the value in flagship devices any longer.

So the Max resolution was what most of us predicted (based on known development points/pixels and the leaked physical size), I'm sure it'll be fantastic, my big question to myself: do I want to go back to that form factor? I mean, outside of the display, and I suppose the battery life, there's not anything uniquely compelling about it - and the battery life on my X is stellar, so it's really all about display vs. physical size ... hmm ...

I have the same question. Realistically, the size of the Xs fits into a pocket way easier than the Xs Max will, based on my previous ownership of a 7 plus. I am torn right now.

Considering the iPhone is updated annually, yes. And its Apples primary source of revenue at approximately 68%. And is there a reason why we shouldn’t have an updated Apple Watch? Considering The health advancements they launched today were a massive improvement.

The watch was an improvement and IPhone X was too small. They should have done the 6.3 note factor last year
