Asked this in another thread, but got no advice:
What is everyone's favorite live-blog of Apple's announcements?
Years back, mine used to be Engadget, but their reporting went downhill and I have their new website's format.
Then I used TheVerge for a while, they seemed to get center-row seats for good pictures and have a good website. Their commentary seems to have gone from mild to annoying. Now it seems they have more quips and sarcasm than actual quotes of what is being said on stage.
MacRumors is ok, but they live-blog website isn't so great and they always seem to get terrible seats, and thus all the pictures are pretty bad.
Which do you guys recommend, taking into account quality of commentary and transcription of what is being said, quality of pictures, and quality of live-blog website format?

Just don't forget to boo on 16GB storage.Tim at least deserves a big standing ovation for not giving into the FBI.

have no answer for you unfortunately. I've discovered basically the exact same things. Cannot stand the new engadget format of their site and have basically stopped going to it because of the redesign. TheVerge is all about commentary and opinion rather than substance. MacRumours is toxic enough with fanboys cluttering up these events, and the live threads aren't really that well done.
I'll probably just have engadget's open in the meantime for lack of any other place to go
You really think not? I'm expecting about a 5-10 minute segment on it.
Sounds about right.Koolaid...
(Although to be historically accurate, I'd have to say Flavor Aid)

Apple goes to court tomorrow. There might be a reference to the issue but don't expect much.
