Everything points to this being quite a low key event. Unless of course we do see a 'new' iPhone, then all the news outlets will claim they've released the iPhone 7 early and everyone will say it looks like the old one. :p

Honestly, I've seen more iPhone 7 leaks than SE leaks.

Asked this in another thread, but got no advice:

What is everyone's favorite live-blog of Apple's announcements?

Years back, mine used to be Engadget, but their reporting went downhill and I have their new website's format.

Then I used TheVerge for a while, they seemed to get center-row seats for good pictures and have a good website. Their commentary seems to have gone from mild to annoying. Now it seems they have more quips and sarcasm than actual quotes of what is being said on stage.

MacRumors is ok, but they live-blog website isn't so great and they always seem to get terrible seats, and thus all the pictures are pretty bad.

Which do you guys recommend, taking into account quality of commentary and transcription of what is being said, quality of pictures, and quality of live-blog website format?

Apple.com

it will be a three hour lecture on privacy rights, all explained by a lawyer.
Is it weird that I would be equally pleased? Would be funny if they leaked a bunch of random stuff and none of it is true. They just wanted to use the attention they get from holding events to bring the spotlight to this case the government is bringing against them. I would be fine with that, but realistically I think they'll probably touch on it in some capacity.

No sane person allows mere employment to impede one's absorption of LIVE Apple events! Bah!

Seriously, grab from iTunes, after the fact (or via Apple TV.)

What if they want to know what's happening with everyone else, but can't open a play a video at work? Don't you think a silent text feed would help in that context? ;)

Oh, I would love it!
I think they will not even mention it, better not play politics the day before you go to court, and better not steal attention to the products. At most he will say the word "privacy" with some emphasis.

I'm ready.

Time will say the word "privacy" with a cough in the right spot.

I bet let us in the loop has something to do with the circle campus or their infinite loop address.
People keep saying that, but I think it's just too early. It's not opening until the end of the year. I'm not sure what else it would be though.
