Is there an audio only stream I can listen to? I'll be working so I can't watch so I don't want to eat up my data for video.
Yes, just put the live stream on and don't look at it. :D
But seriously, that's what I'm doing for the first twenty minutes or so as I drive home from class since I don't get out until ten minutes before it starts. What a shame I won't get to see all of Tim's pretty graphs showing how super fantastically awesome Apple is doing!

I would just recommend holding on that cash for a couple of months first to make sure you don't end up with a watch meant for beta testing. Happens often to early adopters.

Except didn't happen to early adopters of iPod, iPhone or iPad. But I suppose the original Apple TV was beta. Oh wait, actually that might have been the most powerful one they ever made.
But, yes, the 128k Mac was clearly not that great. You were much better off if you waited for the 512k Mac. That worked a lot better.

Nooooooo!!!! My flight takes off 5 minutes before the start and the plane definitely does not have on board wifi.....

Why! WHY!!!

Countdown on main page correct?

Is the countdown correct? I thought it is happening one hour later.

The idea to call it "Spring Forward" and to confuse everyone about Daylight Savings Time is kind of funny.

Apple had a few small problems with Calendars after all :)

Lol, at least you have something to look forward to when you reach your destination.

What about creating a list of all the user names predicting the Apple Watch will fail?
I sure would've loved that list from the iPad discussion right about now.

If we do, then we also should make a list of the people who flamed them as well. Because if the aWatch does fail (depending on how you define that) then those people deserve just as much razzing too.

Let's face it, not EVERYTHING Apple has done has turned to gold.

Somebody keep an eye on Samsung. Their Gear is going to instantly transform during the keynote.

Well I don't know about those products. It's been too long ago for me to remember but the first iMac Flat panel (while innovative and amazing) was also crap due to the wobbly screen and the loud optical drive.....and it wasn't even the first iMac.

The first 17" Powerbook G4 had hinge issues, heat issues and the fan was amazingly loud. Plus the lid didn't sit evenly from left to right. The second version was better but most of the aluminum Powerbook issues didn't get rectified until the Unibody MacBooks were invented.

While the first iPhone apparently was fine (based on what you stated) the iPhone 4 was a major disappointment with the antenna issues. Then came the iPhone 4S that corrected it.

There are many more Apple early adopter stories I can share.

Sometimes it's not just a defect. Sometimes the battery life just sucks in the first few iterations. Sometimes there are poor screen uniformities because of the type of screens Apple gets from Samsung and LG.
