What about it? iPads have always had amazing battery life. They're not like phones. I've literally never heard anyone complain that their iPad doesn't last long enough.

469g Air (1st gen)

150 might be optimistic, now thinking more like 75-100g.

Or they could have left it at the totally fine 7.5mm and increased the battery size.

Agree, the obsession with thinness is getting annoying.
Batteries cost money though, thinness does not.

Didn't you hear? They replaced flash with HTML5, that's why we watch a keynote on safari using quicktime!
