Yeah. I think it's long stopped being anything other than a marketing gimmick.

Engadget has been reviewing a few no-name phones that are pushing <5mm and they hate them - they are so thin you can't even grab them off the table anymore.

I wonder where the tipping point is where they stop trying to go thinner and start focusing on durability and battery life.

Batteries cost money though, thinness does not.
