it's fairly typical. You give the audience a chance to calm down and regroup after a big announcement, before hitting them with something else big.

It's not sexy, but iWork over the cloud is pretty awesome. I work on all types of machines and don't always have my own equipment.

Cloud based productivity apps are a great asset.

Furthermore, it saves hundreds of dollars compared to buying Office suites.

Yup. Flawless. Live blog from Verge, which is about 10 seconds ahead of ATV's stream. Got them both and it works well.
