Google Now is true innovation. The fact that all they did with Siri was add new voices and Bing integration is very telling. They really need to move Siri past simple question/answer. The problem is innovation is happening in software services not UI design and this is an area where Apple is weak. We basically heard nothing about iCloud services in iOS 7 other than password sync. I'm guessing the developers at WWDC are pretty disappointed in the lack of iCloud info at the presentation. Perhaps it is coming later this week however.

Google Now was cool for a few things for me, but it has been a few months since using an Android device so I haven't see any of the new stuff. Most of what I found was cool about it was if I searched for a business or location, it would throw the directions into now .. that was awesome.

There are some things I miss with Android, but the stability gained from iOS has outweighed them for me.

Great job by Craig. Btw he is VERY look alike Lucky Luke, don't ya think?! Just need to put on that cowboy hat. ;)

Was it just me, or did Craig Federighi seem to be channeling Steve Jobs? He REALLY sounded a lot like him up on stage, with almost the same level of comfort with the audience as well. I haven't paid attention to him at keynotes before. Did he always sound like this?

I could be wrong, but wasn't he the guy who demoed the Magic Mouse when it was announced, and seemed very flustered when he ran into problems?

If so, he seems much more composed and confident now.

I agree - I thought he did a great job. Cool, composed and witty. It didn't sound forced or rehearsed like most keynote presenters do. This guy should do all the Apple keynotes.
