Couldn't agree more.

How can they innovate when they can't keep pace with the status quo? Highly disappointed with this WWDC since a refresh of the rMBP is all I was interested in.

It's coming. Just not today. Probably in a month or two when the new chips are available en masse. It's just going to be a spec bump. Apple has done "quiet" updates to the MacBook Pro and Air lines in the past, most recently in February with the Pro.

"there is a profound and enduring beauty in simplicity. In clarity. In efficiency. True simplicity is derived from so much more than the absence of clutter and ornamentation"

Classic: been awhile since I worked at Apple, forgot how evolved marketing-speak is there!

I don't like the safari icon and some of the white icons. Everything else i love.

*sigh*

The saddest part is, there will be people who say "that icon is fugly, what a terrible update. I'm staying on iOS 6!!!".....

iveOS 7 looks incredible....the saddest part is we won't be able to play with it for a while....at least those of us who aren't devs.

It will probably be a quiet update in a month or two. It could be a matter of the availability of chips. Remember, the MacBook Air is getting the 1.3GHz Haswell ULT processors. They are still slower than the full voltage Ivy Bridge processors.

That will piss me off worse. I've waited a month to purchase a new notebook because I was waiting on today. Now I need to go ahead and get one for school. If come next month a new one comes out that is a big upgrade I will be annoyed. Yeah I know it's the risk you take with technology...

Kudos on iOS7. Very well executed.

Needed something to lift me up after seeing Apple's "garbage can" idea of a Mac Pro.:mad::mad:
