it's funny when people complain that Apple is "copying" Android, when Android itself was based off of iOS.

That will piss me off worse. I've waited a month to purchase a new notebook because I was waiting on today. Now I need to go ahead and get one for school. If come next month a new one comes out that is a big upgrade I will be annoyed. Yeah I know it's the risk you take with technology...

Usually that's in July. Wait a tad longer.

Am I the only one that does not give a crap what the icons look like??? I like all of the new features I see so far, but really... Icons??? who the hell gives a crap. Much more to see here folks.

Does anyone else get the sense that Apple is prepping iOS for a phone that doesn't need a home button? My guess is that the "5S" will still have it, but perhaps the 6 next year or the "cheaper" phone they release this fall might not.

I agree, might be the one in 2014 and not this fall, but seems they are going that route. Seeing the innovation with the Mac Pro, I think the iPhone 6 will be a game-changer. But probably 18 months away... :(

What cracks me up is people complain about all these things they want and then when Apple delivers them they complain that someone else did whatever they want first.

A lot of those apps seem to have white backgrounds (including messaging etc) - that'll take a dump on battery life.

smh at adding all this 3rd party crap into the os

there needs to be some customization because that control center looks like crap

With the ipad real estate shouldn't be possible to split the screen between two apps? like youtube and safari, that would be good.

Hold up, stop the clock.
iOS7 will work on the mini but not my iPad 3rd Gen?
How did they explain that?

Oops, never mind, they are talking about AirDrop, I could give a schizz.

I'm sorry but these icons look very premature.

Glad about the carrier name finally being removed, useless waste of space.

actually they remove the carrier logo from all of their presentations and their marketing ads, including website images. I think so they don't piss off one carrier over another. So I would not be surprised if the carrier logo actually does remain.

I never thought I'd say this but Apple is just copying now...

When it comes to iOS, they are. Lots of things have been available on Android for a while now.

No longer limited to 8 tabs in Safari.

You know iOS is lame when that's a 'new feature.' I'm sorry but I've been doing unlimited tabs on Android for the longest time. Pathetic! If anyone gets excited over that, then you need to wake up.
