I assume it is going to be part of your security settings. If you turn this feature on, you will have to trade some security for it.

Currently you can set how much of a preview you can see on the lock screen, and other items like that. May be a new setting.

No... If I can get some stuff done on Lockscreen without actually going to the OS and quickly glance some information, I would love that. That is what widget do.
