Face and place recognition seem very much like Google Photos, which also recognizes objects, etc. I hope it does not replace the folder hierarchy, as I like to keep my photo library in Apple well-organized.

Faces & Places have been on the mac since iLife '09. They weren't first, but this isn't new.

WWDC 2016 = Snorefest.

I can't believe Apple has run out of ideas. Guess it was bound to happen.

I stopped using Photos because Google Photos was far more superior. Now Apple is playing catch-up.

Don't get me wrong, I have all Apple devices in my house. Just disappointed that's all.
