I like the changes to Photos without having to send them out to "the cloud" for the processing, so keeping it on device shows an obvious concern for privacy.

Alright, now Maps is pretty much on par with Google Maps.

Apple Maps now includes traffic en route, a dynamic view that automatically zooms in and out. You can pan and zoom ahead to view what traffic conditions look like ahead.

If they do still sell the 16GB, you don't have to buy that model .. right? There are larger models available.
