Why, all the tea leaves pointed to no new hardware. The only thing I'm bummed about is no dark mode on iOS. Apple must be saving it for OLED phones.

Tea leaves pointed to a Fall release with some context today. Where will a Fall release be touted but here? I didn't expect a new MBP today but they are so overdue a release cycle it's daunting..

Steve's biggest mistake ever to pass the baton to Timmy.

I think Steve knew exactly what he was doing. The job Timmy's doing makes Steve look all the more brilliant.

Don't know, don't care. Seems like a good businessman, and whether he knows anything about programming or not, it doesn't matter. As long as he knows how to put the right people in the right place.

I am not sure about the right people, but the right place right now wouldn't be on stage, it would be on campus, working and fearing.

This is the absolute worst I have ever seen from Apple. With the last announcement at a close second. It is just painful to watch.
Keynotes usually start with a yawn inducing 15 minutes where Cook brags about numbers of sold units/downloads/newly opened stores, etc. Then they move on to the good stuff. This time the entire 2 hours felt like the boring 15 minute intro.

Actually I was not expecting hardware. Was just hoping to would appear to salvage this event. I'm peeved how little attention was given to tvOS . It's back to being a like for Apple . Also disappointed dark mode was not introduced
