Truest statement ever made on these forums. I enjoy constructive criticism about what Apple is doing wrong, as well as coming up with solutions. For instance, as far as I can tell, I was the first person to design the slide to view notifications from the lock screen interface before Apple implemented it. I posted the design mockups on these forums many years ago. Apple's first beta solution actually looked quite similar before they came up with something cleaner. I really do think they browse popular Apple sites like these and sometimes borrow ideas. Same goes for the jailbreak community—maybe less so today, but a lot in the past.

iOS 11 - it is magical! It will be the same thing as always a few tweaks and look like the exact same boring grid of icons.

What we really need is to shift the icons down, just have one or two rows, then some space to see our home screen picture, and then at the top, weather! With a weather widget and clock always on my homescreen, I can be so much more productive! I also want new ways to launch apps, maybe call it a launcher? I just need multiple ways to do the exact same thing, very revolutionary. Hoping this is the year!

My favorite thing about WWDC is Craig. I sometimes wish he was my dad, lol. He seems like such a genuine, great guy. I hope he takes over for Tim someday. To me, he embodies the best of old Apple and new Apple, and has a stage presence and energy that is most similar to Steve.

What would you put instead of the grid of icons? We already have a whole home page on the left which dedicated to widgets and such. Merge the two? That could get confusing when trying to launch apps and they're all mixed in. However, it would be nice to be able to incorporate some type of live content into app icons themselves.

Live Icons is the way to go surprised it has taken this long

True, though these days Apple is such a leaky ship that any new product would have sprung a rumour… still, they may just surprise us and give us something exciting.
