A 580 is their play for entering the VR space? Hmm... that's basically entry level.
Maybe from a hardware standpoint, but PCs still run Windows.Hmm.. actually although these are very nice Mac updates, can't help but think they are still just playing catchup to Windows?
Still it's about time Apple.
Hope so.Mac mini ?
Right! Finally, no more message history lost after a clean install...Messages in iCloud!
They probably signed a long-term contract to prop up AMD to keep Intel honest in processor negotiations.Apple still drinking the AMD coolaid. What a bunch of crap. No Nvidia.
The 580 is No slouch. I'm surprised that Apple have included that level of GPU inside the Mac. Finally!!
Yeah, I was maybe thinking £5K, think its £3K just now, ludicrous pricing, I'm yet to be shocked if not! What was it before? Probably close to that.
still amd still junk.. i understand they are in love with metal but metal is useless and Vulkan is the future but they still stick to AMD so they will still be junk on performance. they charge these ridiculous premiums for their systems however they are still junk for pro users.
