I’m a Mac Pro user. Have been since about 2000 with a Power Mac G4 1.25DP, then the DP G5 followed by a Mac Pro 1,1 and finally a Mac Pro 5,1.
I don't shy away from the high end models. That iMac is a rip off.
Also I remember when the Time Capsule used server grade hard drives, except they didn’t. Apple talk crap when they need to.

WOW, this is so ugly it's unreal how these guys sit at a table and actually agree to this. Most like a marketing team lead design. Atrocious.

Always feel let down by these keynotes... but I can't help but watch. Also can't help feeling that I've wasted my day off watching this.
That's why I didn't bother taking off work this year.. just watch it off my ipad as I can. So far I've seen very little "cool" new features.

iMac Pro uses full on pro-grade components. Compare the price to the other professional workstations. If you're bitching about the price, the iMac Pro was not meant for you.
I think some people wish they had a config with the same design and features but internally the only change is larger SSDs and Vega. Personally, I love the design, 4 TB3 ports, 1080p camera, 4TB SSD, and especially Vega graphics.
