I know many of us including myself will complain about Apple given the slightest chance but this is desperate. It's a bean counter's idea of a public event, I'm actually hoping they 'wow' us with some accountancy software.

Not as courageous as continuing to sell a Mac mini from 2014.
They’re bringing design uniformity across the board similar to the current iTunes and App Store design. Not sure this will be well received by many users. Makes iBooks look cluttered.
Is anyone really excited about the stock ticket getting its own "curated" news feed? wish they gave her more exciting things to go over during the big presentation
The hourglass icon on the projector screen perfectly embodies what little patience I have right now... waiting for some real innovation.
It's because they "shelved features" for iOS 13 even though they've locked themselves in to doing a keynote every year. Meanwhile, they could have some hardware to pad this out, but no...
It's presentations like this that make me really miss a Steve Jobs keynote. This is pathetically sad and disorganized.
I keep watching thinking there will be something not pointless, silly, childish, or more unnecessarily complicating. Watching in vain.

I'm happy so far, all those features are just basic stuff, changing names, small changes in small apps, etc. This is great because there is less chance of bugs, and maybe that thing about performance could be real. Keep it simple and deliver a decent iOS 11 (namely iOS12)
