Live Photos I use as a way to preserve a short video clip as I take the photo. Short video clips of family events may come in handy down the road. Every live photo includes a three second MOV file with sound.

I have just been able to use it recently when I picked up my 7, and can say that I adore having it when taking photos of my kids....one of my favorite features now

Love it - with Google Photos I can convert it to a stabilized gif - sometimes they turn out pretty funny. Not too many apps can make use of it tho. But to be honest, it is rarely used.

Google photo saved them as picture and as a live picture

I use it. It costs me nothing so why not. It's fun when you can hear the voice of the people in the pictures. Right now you may think it's gimmicks, but wait until they're no longer here then you'll appreciate these little things

I do, of course it doesn't work great on every photo, but there are definitely some great applications
