iPod touch Live-Tracking the FEDEX Flights -- AKA, Where EXACTLY is YOUR iPod Touch now?

Thats what mine says. I would guess anyone else with a 3:55pm departure left on the same plane. The flight #is FDX48 Headed for Newark, NJ with a scheduled arrival in Newark at 1:57am. 🙂

Yes! My 32Gb left Alaska at the same time. How did you find out what flight it was on? Did you search Flightaware through all of the listed flights leaving then and saw the exact time of 3:55 headed toward Newark?

Mine is also headed to Newark, NJ on it's way to me. Judging from a 3rd gen Touch I had shipped to me from China a few weeks back, it should arrive on Thurs. I'm not sure where you live, but I'm in southern NY right on the border of NJ. For me, it gets to Newark, then Elizabeth, then Mahwah, then out for delivery.

This was my 3rd gen tracking a few weeks ago...

Delivery by Wednesday?

Alright so I'm pretty sure that mine is on FedEx flight FDX48. If the plane gets in to Newark at 2:00 am and my local sorting facility is Baltimore, MD. I think that I could get this tomorrow. This would be a day earlier than the estimated delivery date but I did however get the 2day shipping. So this would in fact be 2 days after Apple shipped it from Kunshan.

I think mine is on FDX94 and headed to Memphis. I live in Kansas City and it looks as though it will still be a Thursday delivery.
 
Joining the FDX48 crowd, hopefully it'll come to my area (Gaithersburg, MD) a day early on Thursday. 🙂

What shipping did you use for the 3rd Gen?
 
If your iPod was on FDX48 (3:55PM Departure from Alaska), It has landed at Newark, NJ. Now it's up to Ground. So take that for what it is...

From what i know FedEx staff come on at 3AM so look for a scan around that time. ( they may scan the whole lot in earlier tho as it was a direct flight)

Which flight do you guys think mine is on? Does this mean it left Anchorage at 4:02PM, or it arrived there?

I live in San Diego, California, but I'm not sure where the flight would be headed.

the time shown now does not mean its left there yet.

This in relation is ~20 minutes from my house. It looks like I'll be getting my iPod touch a day early. Hopefully some of you all will too!
 
I'm kinda holding my breath.. Because mine 12 minutes ago arrived at my local Fedex location... So depending on when the truck leaves, I may or may not get it today.. It would be like Apple to get it to me today.. but we'll see. My only hope is that it will come today because they sure rushed it over quickly from Chicago to my closest facility.


..and to anyone who's iPod is still in China.. Don't bother updating throughout the day.. They're all sleeping. 😉
 
Like most people, my delivery window was the 10th-14th. It looks like I'm on track for delivery tomorrow, the 9th, so also a day early from what they said. They could get it to me today (the 8th) depending on how fast it leaves Newark, NJ, but I doubt it'll happen though.

Yeah.. That's what I'm starting to think... The only reason I still think I could get it today is because they rushed it as soon as it arrived from Chicago, to my local Fedex facility..

Yeah, it's funny. It seems like NJ to NY takes longer than China to NJ. lol.
