I imagine the engraving process adds a bit of time to the shipping - I ordered within 15 minutes of the store going back up, I'm positive of that, but I think what size you ordered also impacts when it shipped.

Mine must be with yours, milky. It went from being in Alaska to Newark, even though it never said it departed Alaska. I'm in NH, so tomorrow would be fantastic, but I'm thinking Monday is more likely.
 
Update: my Touch arrived about an hour ago!

Busy copying all the content from my old iPhone to it. Can't wait for the jailbreak of iOS 4.1 to be released so I can copy everything.

The screen resolution is fantastic and it's so light it feels like it might break in my grip (compared to that clunker of a 1st gen iPhone I have been using until now). :D

Mine took only one day from China to Alaska, I was just figuring out how to track the airplane but I guess I am late :p i want it noow D:
 
It's in my state! Tracking still estimates a Monday delivery, we'll see what actually happens...

Not sure what that means but hopefully they're loading another shipment on an airplane bound for the U.S.! :)

And it says it should be here by Tuesday at 4:30... i live in LA so what do you guys think :/ when will it get here !

Has it left Anchorage yet, or is it still sitting there? Mine left Anchorage yesterday, and I received it at 2:30 pm today in Virginia. I was supposed to receive it by 4:30 pm next Tuesday, so FedEx can and does occasionally beat its original estimate. (Sorry I don't know anything about FedEx's weekend schedule and that could make a difference in your case.)
 
Now the status says "Sep 10, 2010 4:01 PM, Departed FedEx location, ANCHORAGE, AK". So I guess FeDex System update is mad slow! So when will it arrive In NEW YORK? or they need to stop at NJ first? 6 hrs should be enough right from AK to NJ or NY ?

Estimated arrival is still Wednesday afternoon, but I hope I can get it Saturday or Monday, what do you guys think?
 
And alas, as you all celebrate your iPods slowly making their way to your doorsteps, mine sits in the "prepared for shipment" stage, even though I ordered it 5 days ago.

One thing I'm curious of, Why do all shipments go through Alaska? and after that, why do they all go to Memphis instead of your nearest largest city and then to you?

Alaska is a hub for international transport, and practically every Fedex package goes through their central hub in Memphis.

So at 12:20ish... my package got to Memphis, i live in LA when do you guys think it will arrive? Considering they ship tomorrow as well, it should probably be in California by tomorrow right?
