Live Weather on APP, with a Badge..

Im wondering how are some people showing Live weather on their APPS as a badge? Their also using The Weather Channel APP to do it.

I saw pics in the Jailbroken Home screen thread.. But didnt get an answer there as people are busy looking at pictures.. :)

I thought they were using CurrentTemp.. but thats not it because the icon is actually The Weather Channel and it has a badge with the temperature on it..

Can anyone tell me?

Or what are some other ways of showing live weather on the lockscren/homescreen without using LockInfo..

Theres an option in setting of Weather Icon that says 'Show Badge' thats what the little badge is and it shows like the TWC app

I'm think TWC app must have the same sort of setting.
 
Hmm k ill have to take a look at TWC app then..

Im guessing must the paid version that has it. Because the free version sure has nothing about a label setting.. I just looked through it.
 
be careful if you have a ip4.....i added weathericon a few weeks ago and my phone went into endless rebooting...

i dont think WI works with ip4 as of yet.
 
I added that repo.. And i only have 3 things listed under it and they all relate to LockInfo plugins..

I dont see a weathericon thing at all. Or do i need to get LockInfo in order to use it?
 
yes be carefull if you have the iphone 4, i have added the http://david.ashman.com/beta source and added weather icon to my phone and my phone was in the restore loop for 2days could not get it out of it... finaly got it back with umbrella
 
I'm using WeatherIcon and have been for about a month. Works fine for my iPhone 4 jailbroken on 4.0.1

They just released an update and it works fine now.
 
I dont see anything in that repo but 3 plugins for lockinfo...

You sure thats the right Repo?? Anything special i need to do in order to see weathericon in there?
 
Doesnt work.. tried that repo also.. only 3 plugins and their all for LockInfo...

Also I believe I got this through ROCK so if you have that up and running try searching for it with verifying your recently added repo's there...

If that still doesn't work or if you are opposed to ROCK I will try and upload the files for you tomorrow evening (unless some else uploads earlier)

sorry for going a tad off topic, but is it possible to have the weather on the status bar?
