I had troubles with it myself.. it just wouldnt update.. I had to go open the Stock weather App in order for TWC to update..
Just didnt make much sense too me.. Also the icon i dont think works it stayed constant on my throughout the entire day

Downloaded and works good. App icon picture changes and the temp as well.
Status bar temp or image isn't showing. Do I need winterboard for that to show up? I have both of these settings set to On.

ssh into System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app
find weatherbg.png
rename it to weatherbg.png.backup
also rename weatherbg@2x.png to weatherbg@2x.png.backup
do the same for the weathernight.png back it up
now add the transparent png image name it weatherbg.png
respring your phone
this is the 57x60 transparent icon rename it weatherbg.png

for me it worked perfectly....you must have your city location setup in the first page of native iphone weather app(which is by yahoo)
LOL.....I was very close to being a meteorologist,and im still a huge weather freak,so for me the iP4 is alot of fun having all this at my fingertips.....
not too mention i ride motorcycles and snowmobiles which both depend highly on the weather,and if it is going to be changing quickly!

i go into the native app,and move my 7th city down to the first page of cities,and when i close the app out,the icon and temp changes instantly on status bar.
so be sure you have first page of yahoo native weath app as your city.

By the way, it works just fine for me also, not sure why others are having issues.

Well after updating to the latest version 2.4.2.7, there is a pop up that says I need libstatusbar in order to use status temp and image! And so I went to install it and voilà, finally status bar temp works!
But now that pop up never stop coming!!!! It pops up whenever I respring/reboot iPhone! Is this just me or is it a small glitch with the new update?!
I don't think I'm meant to get this working. I've searched cydia and I can't find libstatusbar : (
I've even looked in the bigboss repo and nothing is in there with that name.
Go under the manage tab and then hit settings in the upper left hand corener and set it to developer, then go search.

i think the dev added this new feature to the 2.4.2.7 from 2.4.2.3 (previous version) where there is an auto pop up that tells you to install libstatusbar for the status bar temp/image to work. I got it after the update since i don't have libstatusbar. But now that i installed it, the pop up never goes away....
maybe i will shoot him an email about it...

I had the same pop up problem when I ha 2.4.2.7, so try upgrading it and hopefully that should fix it.

also be sure you have latest weathericon obviously,at least we got it worked out for most of you.

^^^^i did all of those things with 2.4.2.7 to no avail!
But Updating to 2.4.2.8 makes the pop up goes away! Yay!
And problem is gone now with 2.4.2.10 update! So I guess it's just with the 2.4.2.7.
But the learning lesson is that I get the statusbar to work!
