well when i say it works for me i have the live icons and all but i have a slight problem.

I have slanted lock configured to use yahoo weather and there is a difference between it and weather icon! Slanted lock says 8 degress C and the weather icon says 7. iPhones weather app also says 8 so where is weather icon getting the 7 from?

Weathericon only checks periodically for updates. I can;t remember what the default is, but seems like it was maybe 1 hour or 30 minutes. Is it possible that the Weathericon is just behind?

I also have 4.1 and it seems to be working fine for me.

just updated to 4.1 and rejailbroke... my weather icon is turning weatherchannel max into a solid blue icon no weather info... what am i missing?

edit: working now. apparently i needed to open the stock iphone weather app (post restoring) before it would start working.

not sure what is wrong for all you guys....mine has been flawless with properly updating icon and temp in status bar and badge/icon ontop of native weather app.

for all of you with issues...DO NOT use the "advanced user only" section whatsoever....leave the "override" to OFF.

you MUST load your city into the first page of native weather app.

for instance,i have 7 different cities in my native weather APP(not twc,not accu) im talking native app which came with ip4.

i go into the native app,and move my 7th city down to the first page of cities, and when i close the app out,the icon and temp changes instantly on status bar.

so be sure you have first page of yahoo native weath app as your city.

My settings

Enable-ON

weather settings
Enabled-ON
Refresh(10mins)
windchill-OFF

ADVANCED USERS ONLY
Override-OFF

ICON
show image-ON
show badge-ON
application-iPhone weather
Custom-Enter Bundle Identifier(leave default)

Status bar
show image-ON
show temp-ON

so Im guessing the native weather app is different in the 3gs vs the 4 cause I have no place to adjust any settings other than ad the city.
