since everyone else is sharing, this is what i've come up with. its a complete mish-mosh of other found themes all pulled together. i started with a basic gators theme (go gators!!!), didnt like the icons so mixed in glasklart, then discovered Gruppled LockInfo, and have been modifying ever since. i've taken pieces of gruppled art, and modified with a gator logo (simple photoshop cut & paste), changed fonts, added some colors, and viola!

if i can figure out how to incorporate the twitter theme from lockinfo matte, i think this might just be perfect :D

hope you like.

disclaimer - 99.9% of this is not my original work, and i take no credit for creating any of it other than putting the pieces together.

Get iBlacklist in Cydia

iBlacklist has options that hide the SMS notification window. It is part of the free version of the app, so you don't need to buy a registration key.

1. Install iBlacklist
2. Run iBlacklist
3. Go down to the "Extras" menu
4. Set SMS and MMS privacy to on.
5. Voila, no more notifications popping up.

You might need to respring your phone after step 4 to get the results, I don't remember.

thanks - works great.

Im using gruppled art. There are only 3 files in com.apple.telephony folder.

make two copies of bottombarknobgray and rename them bottombarknobgreen and bottombarknobred and place them in the com.apple.TelephonyUI folder

I replaced my slider with the gray one and it looks nice. However, when i get a call i still have a lock icon and have to press instead of slide. Anyone have a fix for this?

should have quoted this one instead, sorry

Just an FYI, repository David.ashman.com just released a program called Pop-up Blocker. He does say it is in very early beta, but that should serve as another alternative to iBlacklist I guess.

I found out how to replace the "tap to unlock" with an actual slide bar (and a pretty one at that).

1. Take the two attached files here.

2. Navigate to /Library/Themes/Gruppled LockInfo.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI/

3. Copy the 2 attached files into that folder, overwriting the 2 with the same name that are in there.

The slide bar will look like this:

how did you change the opacity of the bottombarbkgndlock?

I will try to simplify the install:

Open cydia and add this source ( http://simonv.chronophoto.fr/cydia/ )
When done add http://david.ashman.com/apt (Lock Screen Hide App)

Once the repository updates install the base Lockmatte UI and any other of the plugins that you want (there are several)

Open winterboard and activate the new Lockmatte info Theme
Go to the iPhone Settings scroll down to Lockinfo and customize the way you like

You can always use SSH and copy the files off the iPhone and edit them all you want in order to change the App to your liking.

Hope that helps? I became confused after reading literally hundreds of pages from numerous threads. It's really pretty straight forward but it can become confusing if you read everything posted. Thanks again to hard-case.

I love you.

Lookin pretty good here!

I cant find how to enable the sections to be unfolded (opened) by default. Anyone know how to fix that?

trying this out, it seems to work well. not sure what all of the options mean exactly tho.

The lockinfo cydia update today.. has made my mail stop.? any one else

Yep. I no longer have my .Mac email. I still have Gmail account and Exchange account though, but cannot for the life of me get it to pick up my .Mac account. Even when I go under LockInfo in Settings, the account is not even listed there.

I tried to re-install both LockInfo and my .Mac email account to the phone, but no help. :(

I had email David as well last night about it. Hopefully he will fix it quickly.

The update also broke LockBackground.html functionality (rotating lockscreen backgrounds, etc) as LockInfo simply does not display when a theme using a LockBackground.html is activated in WinterBoard, regardless of its relative priority (position in WB) ... Lame. Just when I had everything set up PERFECTLY, an update comes out that breaks everything and even worse, there's no way to downgrade. :(

I hope he fixes the newly introduced bugs soon. :)

edit: just exchanged a few emails with the developer and he said he'd be posting a fix for this problem soon. Yay. :D

Doesnt work at all for me, ive enabled everything however pop-ups still show..Then I thought I had a problem with the settings.app as it would not launch. So I uninstalled pop-up blocker and settings.app is back to normal. Strange bug. I look foward to future stable updates.

Till now my weather still shows a "?", doesn't show up. Wonder what went wrong.

Hey, two questions:

1) Is there anyway to have the LockInfo stuff show on top of the album art on the LockScreen when music is playing? I have Grupple's theme if that matters.
2) Is there anyway to have IM notifications from BeeJive show in like a new IM notifications section like is available in Multibar?

its a shame the apps in the app store cant get updated, tested, approoved blah blah blah as quick as personal devs and cydia :) whoop cheers david works good
