Thanks again but I guess Im an idiot because no matter where I search I cant find a link or info on how to get the native lock info theme. Oh well, I guess the colored bubbles are not that needed. I can live with the gruppled them I have now. Thanks again for clarifying what I was doing wrong.

EDIT: Corrected links below.

The link was kind of hidden at the top of that thread. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=582ff3c07a787f357432d3c9683f450a336fcdb7429193fa5621d66e282a0ee8

^^Gruppled Art now has a LockInfo theme in it.

There are WeatherIcon themes in the Gruppled Dark and Light themes below.

There you go. There's the host for it.

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it. I still cant figure out what to do since I'm not to experienced in this stuff. Not sure if I should be doing something with the .scm because if I put the Grupples folder contents in my theme section via SSH and enable thru WB nothing happens. I'm just happy I made it as far as I did with this whole thing. Thanks to everyone for the help, screw the colored bubbles for now. :)

Here is my LockScreen for the time being until I figure out the bubble thing.

I don't think you do anything with the .scm file... If you use winterboard try adding Gruppled Dark or Gruppled or Gruppled Light to Winterboard and then turn off the old gruppled theme and turn on the new one.

sorry i guess im slow on this as well. i downloaded matteui native and gruppled native... unzipped and showed up as .theme file. i opened contents and see couple of folders...not sure where im suppose to put these.

im using iphone-explorer to copy and paste but i dont know where to put them.

EDIT: ok, i think i got it down..tell me if this is correct. im using your directions from here https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/8439902/

1. i downloaded NativeMatte 1.0.2 theme
2. extract the zip. i opened up the .theme file. there are 2 folders (bundle, UIimages)
3. so based on this:
You should be able to drop anything that's in a Themes/<theme>/Bundles directory into /Library/LockInfo/Plugins directory except for com.ashman.LockInfo. Those files would reside directly in /Library/LockInfo/.

i can drop everything thats in the NativeMatte 1.0.2/bundle folder into the /Library/LockInfo/Plugins folder EXCEPT for com.ashman.lockinfo (this has to go into /Library/LockInfo)
4. then reboot and thats it?

Did that but nothing but my calendar shows up since thats all I have in my plug-ins. Nothing is happening from WB themes basically. Thanks anyways!

You have to copy the TellephonyUI folder from the theme you want the slider from and paste it in the theme you want the slider to be in. Basically copy the folder from your Gruppled Art theme to your Gruppled Lock Info theme.

i want to change my slider as well but i want to do it natively...is that possible? where would these files from the TellephonyUI folder go into? i want the slider from Gruppled Art theme. thanks!

UPDATE: found out how to change the slider. now i want to remove the slide to unlock text..it got relocate to the side. how do i completely remove that? thanks!

UPDATE 2: found out how to remove the slide to unlock text. but after i replaced the SpringBoard.strings, my calendar date disappeared as well. anyone know how to just remove the 'slide to unlock' text?

You'll want to just edit out the lines for your slider text instead of replacing the whole file. Do this after backing up the original of course.

I'm having a hell of a time using the Gruppled Native theme. Can someone please give me step by step instructions for how to do it?

First off, I'm running lockinfo without winterboard.

I'm trying to use the Gruppled Native Dim theme from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5...e6ba49b5870170

OK. So I open the folder that says "Gruppled Dim" and dragged all of the contents to Library>Lockinfo on my phone and resprung. Nothing.

What exactly do I need to do with "Gruppled Dim" and where exactly do I need to place each of the theme files in that folder?

Hopefully this question helps out others who are also lost with all of this. Many thanks.

Yea, read my above post for the files. Here's basic WITHOUT WINTERBOARD instructions. With Winterboard just activate the themes.

  1. Download Gruppled Art.zip
  2. Open it up and go into Gruppled Art.theme/Bundles
  3. Copy everything from com.ashman.lockinfo to /Library/LockInfo/
  4. Copy everything from every plugin com.ashman.lockinfo.calendar, com.ashman.lockinfo.sms, etc... to their respective folders, /Library/LockInfo/Plugins/com.ashman.sms whatever. Paste the files in the folders so you replace the section icons with the new ones.
  5. PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
  6. If you want the WeatherIcon theme you gotta do that from the Gruppled Dim or Gruppled Dark or whatever it is. Those files (a bunch of .png files and one .plist. NO FOLDERS, just the files) go into /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
  7. PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
  8. If you want to theme the Status bar you will have to do that as well. This is not a part of LockInfo.
  9. Go to Gruppled Art.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/
  10. PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.
  11. Copy the images that you want themed (status bar and probably media controlls) to the SpringBoard.app folder I mentioned earlier.
  12. PLEASE BACKUP ANY FILES BEFORE YOU REPLACE THEM.

Always backup files that you replace, especially if they are STOCK iPhone files. I can't stress this enough.

You will have to do this every time LockInfo is updated. At least replacing the images (the weathericon stuff will stay). You can create a .sh script to do this automatically for you when you run it to make it a little less painful. If you don't know what I'm talking about, copy and paste just to be safe. :D Maybe someone wants to make a custom theme folder with a .sh script that will apply and remove the theme for novice users.

Thanks ViViD! Those were exactly the detailed instructions I needed.

No problem. :D I'm 99% sure this will work. I often write up these directions by going through it in my head and looking at the theme files. I haven't tried.

Let me know if something doesn't come up right and I'll make sure the directions are accurate.

I really like your lockscreen. I'm really a newbie in this. Can you help me get to the your home screen look. I need the calendar and neat look. Do I have to buy lockinfo or something.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make lockinfo NOT show your texts and emails on the lock screen, but rather just tell you you have a text or email?

Edit: Solved

I used this tutorial for nearly all of it. I did tweak the background images in the background file but thats really it.

Here is the link...

Will need to unable SSH for your iPhone and here is a tutorial for that.

Native Matte Theme Now Available

Just happened to poke around in Cydia tonight and noticed there is now a Matte Theme for the Native version of LockInfo. Looks pretty sweet with the black banners and colored icons.

I realize this was possible before native rendering, but I didn't go with LockInfo until the native option came out recently. Not much of an HTML'r!

Deuce.. Can you help with your theme. I cannot get the slider bar as yours and the clock. etc. Is it possible if you copy your files as a theme. Sorry for my questions.

I looked at this and when I went to install it, it said it needed to install Winterboard also. Not sure what's going on, maybe I don't have a clear understanding of the term "Native Rendering" yet. I thought it wouldn't require Winterboard.

It's themed with winterboard if you install it with Cydia.

You can apply the themes manually with SSH just like any other theme though. If you can find a .zip of it online that's probably the easiest way.

Native only means it uses iPhone Native Tables rather than HTML or Javascript rendering.
