The files are just in /Library/LockInfo/ You can then change the section headers and plugins and stuff.

As for your lock background above... How the heck to do you change the springboard background? That's not a stock feature until 4.0. You must be using winterboard or something.

Vividboarder....

I figured out how to change the Lockinfo section header icons. Thanks.

I also got the Mail status bar "counter" problem corrected. It no longer shows the count twice. I deleted and reinstalled Lockinfo.

Springboard background? Maybe I didn't state that correctly. I thought you can have a different wallpaper or background on the lockscreen and a different on Springboard (Homescreen)? Maybe not? When I set a wallpaper as the background it takes on the Springboard but not on the lockscreen. I've checked the User Lock Background and User Wallpaper themes on Winterboard but I haven't been able to get any wallpaper on my lockscreen yet. I only get is a black background with a poor graphic of the battery? See the following:

photozb.jpg

I'd also like to change out some of the App icons on the Springboard. When I had my Winterboard LockScreen Theme there was a folder called "Icons" which contained all the app icons. It was very easy to replace the icons. Now I don't know where the app icons are? I'm not using a Winterboard theme at all? I see where the individual app files are...at.../var/mobile/Applications...but I don't see an individual icon for each app...it isn't obvious to me. When I view the icon.png files in these folders I don't see any graphic at all?

Can I take my icon folder from my previous Winterbord theme and place it in one of the iPhone folders such that the iPhone would recognize this folder as my "default" icon folder?

Thanks...

In what folder(s) are the icons located?

If you want to change the stock icons they are @:
/library/lockinfo/Plugins/com.ashman.lockinfo.XXXXplugin.bundle/section_icon.png

Or if you want to apply the icon as a theme through winterboard :
var/stash/themes.xxx/YourTheme/bundles/com.ashman.lockinfo.XXXXplugin.bundle/section_icon.png

EDIT: never mind, you've sorted that.

In your active winterboard theme the lockscreen image is called "LockBackground.png" (case sensitive) and your Springboard image is "Wallpaper.png"...no need for user lock blah blah.
If your phone is charging it will show the battery images.

It may be that the images are specially formatted. You should just be able to replace each icon.png in each respective folder.
There is no default icon folder for the iphone.

Yep...I figured out how to change the "lockinfo stock icons". What I'm still struggling with is how to change "app icons" in the Springboard. I do not have a theme selected in Winterboard....so where are the icons (Settings, Cydia, Camera, App Store, etc.) stored?

Thanks....

Thank you...that's good to know that there is a "LockBackground.png" and a "Wallpaper.png". The problem is I don't have a theme selected in Winterboard? So what theme is the iPhone using if no theme is selected in Winterboard. Must be a "default" theme because prior to jailbreaking an iPhone there is a theme. Where is it?

In regards to the battery image showing up on my background...

I "was" getting the previously posted image whether my iPhone was charging or not. It was weird...that image was on my iPhone the last two days until last night my wallpaper image finally "took".

I was downloading SBSchedule from Cydia and I performed a "restring" and there is was? My wallpaper theme was my lockscreen background. Then as I performed various activities on my iPhone the lockscreen background "reverted" back to the black background with the "cheezy" battery image that I had been trying to get rid of. Bummer!

Long story short....got up this morning and booted up the iPhone and my background is once again my wallpaper. Yeepee.....hope it stays that way! Can't explain all this...some kind of "glitch" that corrected itself? I was thinking I was going to have to restore the iPhone. To try to correct the lockscreen image issue...I had reinstalled Lockinfo and the plugins several times, resprung, rebooted...dozens of times, had deleted and replaced the Lockbackground.png several time but no luck! Now for absolutely no reason the image goes away?

OK I found what appears to be the iTunes download app icons. In /var/mobile/Applications there are folders named XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX with files named "iTunesArtwork". the files don't have extensions such as .png or .jpg? So am I on the right track? How do I take an alternate app icon...a .png file...and replace it as a "iTunesArtwork" file? Just rename the icon.png to iTunesArtwork?

And where are the stock springboard icons located such as Phone, Camera, Settings, Cydia (not stock), Contacts, etc....?

Thanks...I know I am getting a little away from the thread theme here...."Lockinfo" but this all revolves around getting a custom Springboard theme w/ the native Lockinfo (no Winterboard theme).

Thanks...

Damn...it's back....

And this is without the iPhone plugged in? So where is the battery icon coming from?

By the way I found a very slick iPhone app for quick htmls of your screenshots. Pixels...works really well...and it's FREE!

OK....stupid me...it's usually that way isn't it! This is the way the lockscreen works when I took the iPhone out of the new Mophie. I guess I didn't realize that the lockscreen wallpaper background goes away when the iPhone battery is recharging. And even though I stated before that the iPhone wasn't plugged in...it actually was! Into my Mophie! Sorry to waste too much space on these threads for this!

Finally found where the iPhone (Cydia and stock) icons were located....

Rss feed question

I have lockinfo, and I am trying to get rss feeds working. I downloaded the rss feed plugin, and I went into settings and entered a URL for yahoo. The URL was (http://news.yahoo.com/rss/) but I am not getting anything on my lockscreen. Just wondering what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

I still want to put the whole lockinfo thing a bit downwards on the homescreen.

Are there further ideas?
Or how I can effectively reach the developer?

Email him or post in a forum where he is active. Most developers have some kind of contact info in cydia .

There's a setting for that. Settings>LockInfo>Lockscreen>Layout then move the position slider until it looks good.

Anyone know which forum this would be? I had a problem and an e-mail to his support address bounced so I ended up nagging him over twitter... only to find out that he already knew about the problem and has a fix on the way. So basically I feel like a jerk now.

There has got to be an active forum for lockinfo somewhere though right? modmyi didn't seem to have anything

This is his development thread: http://www.macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16794311

That's where you can post if you really want to reach him. Normally his email works, I'm not sure why it didn't for you. I end up emailing him fairly frequently for help with writing plugins.

I'm glad your issue got resolved though.

I'm not sure which version I have or if you fixed these bugs but here they are anyway:

-Sometimes even though I have items in a section (ie: email) and it shows in the count I have some, and I have Hide empty sections enabled, it wont show the items

-Why does the calendar show the date/time, when the lockscreen has it already? At least hide it when the lockscreen mode is not fullscreen

-Sometimes the clock (on the calendar) wont update properly, and will be behind

-Could you add a media player applet? One with a seek bar?

Back to a Jailbroken iPhone (4).

DLed LockInfo and it's asking for my license. I already paid for it on the 3GS, so how would I get that license # back?

And can't Authenticate the Twitter plugin.

I was able to install LockInfo fine but I have issue's trying to purchase a license. Anyone able to recently? I emailed David for support but was hoping maybe I can get lucky here.

I was able to recover mine so im not sure why buying one would be different.
