Same thing happened to me but I was able to reinstall 2.3.7.5. Looks like I'm going to have to reinstall my RSS plugin and configure the feeds though. Something very buggy about this update - not good at all.

None of the lockinfo sources are working correctly with the plugins. After a number of faulty installs I got rid of lockinfo and it's plugins until the issue is resolved.

PS I've never had to restore my iPhone after JB- when is the restore necessary? Would multiple failed installs leave junk behind that I would want to clean up with a restore? Even if the phone is acting normally?

That is strange. 2.3.7.5 is working well for me with all the plugins. The only time I had a problem was when I changed the SystemVersion.plist file to update iMovie.

Have a significant amount of other people had this issue too? I tried to reproduce it with no luck so it's obviously a conflict with something else that I have not tested with. If you did have issues with this install (which is undoubtedly due to a recent dependency change I made), I need to know exactly what Cydia told you when you tried to update.

When the developer tracks you down and ask how he can help you solve the problem, that's customer service!! :p

Hi David. I know we went back and forth on Twitter but all I can really tell you is that Cydia showed an update for Lockinfo and I updated just like I always do. After the respring, I noticed that Lockinfo was gone from my Lockscreen. I assumed that the update just wiped out my settings or something so I went into Settings and looked for Lockinfo and I noticed that it wasn't there. I then went into Cydia and installed the latest beta and then had to install the weather and rss plugins. It's working fine now but that was very weird. Like I told you on Twitter, I haven't installed anything new and my iphone 4 is still on 4.0.

Is there a log file somewhere maybe that will tell you what happened when it was uninstalled from my phone?

hi everyone,
sorry for the dumb question but I don't have an iPhone yet and I was just wondering if this app is free?!? I know there was another one like this which was about $5. Thanks.

No - it's $4.99 and worth every penny:D

Is there any way to control what goes up in the top of lockinfo?
Mine conflicts with bitesms :/

If you're talking about the status bar icons, you can disable those in the lockinfo settings. Just go into the settings for each plugin and make sure you turn off status bar icons.

Jesus I could have sworn I checked there. Thanks man.
I feel dumb

Hey david,
I was wondering why you do not have a notification for calendar. I understand that lockinfo does not support invites, but it would be great to have a notification when an event is about ot occur (i.e. when the alarm would normally go off). Similar to what Reminder does. It would be doubly helpful since I am sure most of us here are using Lockinfo or Popup Blocker to block said calendar alerts.

Thanks for all the work!

anyone else finding they cant turn off RSS feeds on Lockscreen?
I using 2.3.7.6

I have visibiltiy ON with Lockscreen and Infoshade OFF. Homescreen is ON and the only place I want to see RSS feeds

Unfortunately, the RSS feeds show up on the lockscreen. I have repsrung and rebooted to no avail.

Sometimes when that happens it seems to help if you turn them on and respring and then turn them off and respring or vice versa. I had a similar issue with and that fixed it.

Before you do that, can you install syslogd, respring, reproduce the issue and send me your /var/log/syslog file? I have yet to reproduce this issue.

Oops. Sorry I missed this and did not run the syslog first. I am sorry. I really appreciate the excellent service Stimpy.

Tjones. Thanks it worked. Turned it on repsrung. Turned off and respiring and it worked. I could have sworn I tried that but obviously I did not.
