The latest version does not fix this error. Now it says ? degrees and question mark for the weather icon when no wifi or data is present.

change size of date

ive asked this a couple times now, but it seems its getting lost in the thread.

on what line in the html do you change to correct the date height? its being covered my infolock,

thanks!

Ok guys I have added this to the correct folders and it shows up in winter board. I will select the theme and respring yet nothing shows up, any suggestions?

How do you change color on font, preferably the year , day number and time. This is a great theme but its only good on backgrounds that are dark colored.

If you put it behind a white or bright background, it doesn't look as good. For lighter background, i was thinking of changing the white text to black.

you have to use the photoshop templates inside the theme, and change the color there.
i went to do that but, don't have the same font (and got restlesss... :rolleyes: )

my question (and sorry if i've missed it): how can i JUST add "F" to the weather? just that...

its because it is refreshing every 5 mins... you might wanna change from 5mins to an hour.. if that "?" really bugs you.. i think you are asking too much..

Great Theme!!

it sounds like you're missing the grade sign element. maybe you don't have one of the latest versions? in my wallpaper.js file there is a line towards the bottom (right ABOVE where it says document.getElementById("weatherIcon").scr="Private/weather/Icon etc etc...) that says:

if (isCelsius) gradeSign = "C"; else gradeSign = "F";

document.getElementByID("temp").innerHTML=tempValue+"&#176"+gradeSign;

EDIT: working on it (still getting a grey box around the weather), but found the CORRECT file to edit...

Love the theme. Looks really professional!

You guys have done some beautiful work with this theme. I loaded it and played for a bit, then remembered why I went to the native lockinfo months ago. Back to my LockInfo, but I'll keep watching this thread, just to get inspired!

trying to figure a few things out.....

i have the most recent version,and ive tried for an hour now to make the damn clock fit the screen properly....i changed the html file pixels down from 80 to 65 and that made it smaller but it went to the left,and it not centered.....can someone help me shrink clock down and center it?

also,my weather says loading now for over an hour,and a 3 with a question mark,and an icon with a question mark.

i have put my 5 digit US zip code in,and chose yahoo weather....what am i doing wrong?

thanks!

frustrating.....

my weather does not work at all.....not sure why, it wont load

also,i want the clock to fit,why is it so hard to do?...evertime i change the sizes it moves clock to left and not centered

ugh!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all those who have kept editing this great theme. I've just got to figure out a way to get dgstan's layout in the text format that weemanpow3 posted earlier.

@dgstan any chance you could upload your background picture please?
Here's my background. It's from some standard pack I found via Google.

I found a nice freeware .png editor called "Paint.net". Using it, I went through all the months and normalized their sizes so they all take up the same amount of space on the screen. I made the short ones longer and the long ones shorter.

Any chance of sharing the theme files?
I also normalized the days of the week so they are all the same length. Attached is a zipfile of all the .png files I changed.

i read this entire thread 5 times.....i tried every HTML posted in order to make the time fit onto the screen. None worked as they simply moved the clock off to left.

I just went into the .CSS folder for timetopcenter,and i was able to edit the clock there,to 0 pixels from left side and that worked.....man what a pain,how come im the only one who had to center my clock this way?

now,the last issue i have is my weather has still never worked at all...just a damn ? . see screenshot.

I have entered yahooweather and also my zipcode.

thanks
