So? These are still nice cases for $199/$229, no sale needed. I've used mine extensively for the last 6 months. How much have you used one?
I have been using the Magic Keyboard since last June.

At $199/229, you are saving almost nothing over discounted Apple Magic Keyboard price. While Logitech offers some benefits, such as full side protection, lighter weight, detachable keyboard, and function keys row, it also lacks several things that Apple has.

Notably, Apple's keyboard is much more laptop-like with greater stability (way more usable on your lap), superior raised design, better keyboard and trackpad experience (better key switches, trackpad click, and more even backlighting), and dedicated charging USB-C port.

Lovely! Much nicer than Folio Touch due to this detachable keyboard.

Although they could've made the cut-out for Touch ID button to make it compatible with the latest Air...
Is that the only reason why this isn't compatible with the Air? I was trying to figure out what the difference was that was blocking compatibility, and I guess that's it.

I have the Apple Magic Keyboard, but I would have preferred this from Logitech. I had the earlier version of this for my original iPad Pro and I loved the ability to detach the keyboard when it wasn't needed.

Can anyone summarize how this is different from their previous keyboard for iPad Pro?

MacBooks have the power button in the same place.
Yes, but the MacBook power button doesn't shut down your computer if you accidentally press it whilst typing.
It has much greater resistance. The Lock Screen button has the same resistance as any other key.

They placed a battery check button in that position on these two models:

You didn't answer the question. I asked how long you've been using the Logitech to form an opinion about it?

My Wifes' MBA's power key has the same resistance as every other - it does take a few ms longer click to lock than the iPad.

I've been using a Logitech Type+ for the last couple of years though and cannot remember hitting the lock screen by accident even once during use. Even with sausage fingers.

And yes, I do a lot of typing (and alot of deleting because I'm not the best).

This new combo touch keyboard doesn't have a flap to rest the apple pencil. Does this mean that the Apple pencil should and always be connected to the ipad pro? Will this drain the ipad pro battery if they apple pencil is always connected?

I'm considering a iPad Pro 12.9" to replace my Ryzen desktop. How are the trackpads of these Logitech keyboards. Are they as good as Apple's? I would get a Magic Keyboard, but I need something that protects the iPad and I don't want to mess around with both a case and a keyboard...
