Running around same price after rebate.
I prefer the button placement and the slick feet on the G5/G7 much better. Too bad the G7 isn't available on that same $40 deal at CompUSA. I just ordered a G5 corded mouse I have an MX518 now but like the feel of the G5 better); it was oly $46 at Amazon.TBi said:The G7 is newer and i think is better but i prefer the look of the MX1000 better.
I hope this is OK. I just ordered 2 G5 mice from Amazon. I had an MX518 and loved it but the G5 felt better in my hand and I wanted the side scrolling.cube said:I've read bad reports on this about the G5/G7 (too hard to press).

I'll do that. Amazon shows that they are being packaged for shipment, so they should be here in a few days.cube said:Please tell us how it goes with the middle click here when you get them. And if the side scrolling capability gets in the way of clicking, too.
Thanks

When I was using a Logitech MX700 with my Mac I used Logitech's keyboard/mouse driver (I forgot what it was called). For some reason it wasn't listed under mice, but only under keyboard/mouse combos (but it worked fine). I think though that USB Overdrive is simpler and lighter on resources.reorx said:For all of you who use Logitech mice, where do you get a driver which will enable all the extra buttons?
