Just wondering, does your Best Buy sell the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover? Thinking about picking that up instead of a bulky folio

As of this morning most of the Best Buy's in my area show the keyboard in stock. Maybe depends on location and how much traffic that store sees.

I was looking at getting one of these folio keyboard cases but I have decided to just stick with the Incase Oragami + Apple Wireless Keyboard for now, Still works well. I do wish it had more dedicated iPad buttons though.

Logitech makes another one called the fabricskin that looks amazing but way too expensive. Curious for reviews though

Got a response back from Logitech Support:

"This is Yul Amiel from The Logitech Customer Care Team and I am glad to assist you.

I understand that you're inquiring if the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio i5 has a sleep/wake feature. Let me help you with this.

The device doesn't support sleep/wake feature.
You have to press the sleep/wake button of the iPad to put it to sleep when closing the case, and wake the iPad when you open it."

Oh well. It's not a deal breaker for me. Still IMO, the best keyboard case out right now. Talk to me in a few weeks when that Belkin Qode Ultimate Keyboard Case comes out

Thought about this setup, but didn't want to carry too many parts. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a go. Outside of non-dedicated iPad keys, that Apple Keyboard is awesome.

I'm waiting for this one as well. Curious if the sleep/wake feature works on it. Looks like it'll be a few weeks before Best Buy gets them. BB must have an exclusive on the Logitech cases for a few weeks...

Does it support other keyboards? I was thinking of getting the Logitech K811 keyboard instead.

I got the plain folio today and I'm disappointed tbh. I expected more and it's just far too barebones for the price.

I'll be returning this.

I'm not sure, This is what holds the keyboard in so I guess if the keyboard you are wanting to use can clip in there it will be fine.

Ahhh it definitely would not fit that. He clips look like the hook onto the Apple Keyboard's rounded end, which the K811 doesn't have. Thanks for the info, though!

How does the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio compare with QODE Ultimate Keyboard case by Belkin? Curious to know.

And is the logitech really that heavy for you to return it?

Just picked this up at BestBuy (sold out on Amazon last time I looked). Enjoying it so far, especially the ease with which the case converts from "laptop" style to "magazine" style (photo 3 --> photo 4). Nice grippy texture on the case. More details to come shortly:

Dooes the keyboard rub or press against the screen of the iPad or is the iPad recessed enough?

I noticed the folio only case I bought doesn't have a hole for the second microphone, another deal breaker.

Omg, these are out already?! I'm waiting for the Logitech fabricskin folio! Although looking at the reviews of the previous iPad versions, I'm afraid that it get be too bulky... then again, the iPad is skinnier, so the case should be a little less bulky...

It shouldn't. The corners of the keyboard is slightly lifted, so the corners of the iPad air would be laying on those when the case is closed. So yeah, the keys won't be touching the case when it's closed.

EDIT: oh! This is the case for the Mini! Just as I thought, it really is anti out yet for the iPad air... Whoops

EDIT: or maybe not... This is maybe for the Air... SO CONFUZZLED ;_;

Since the Belkin is not out yet, I took back the Logitech Ultrathin Folio I had picked up from Best Buy and got the Fabricskin Folio. Wow. Loving it. It's definitely a bit thinner that the Ultrathin. Not a huge amount, but definitely noticeable to me. The sleep/wake function seems to also work even though the feature is not listed on the box and/or the Logitech website.

We shall see how this lasts...

Can you post pics of your fabricskin folio

Im so torn on this.

Im def getting a keyboard, I just don't know if I want to pick up a stand alone or case. The case seems super convenient, but I don't want to add a ton of bulk to my air or have to constantly remove it from the case.

Here are some. Took them with my iPhone. So far so good. They keyboard is not a chicklet style keyboard. They do have play and do work when hit. They are covered with a waterproof material. It's nice and I don't fear they'll scratch the iPad at all. They are made of a soft material. See Logitech's website for all the particulars.

Attached are some pics.

Do you worry the white fabric will discolor over time and use?

Nah, it's the type of material that is easy to clean. A lot nicer that I thought it would be.

I usually upgrade my iPad every year or two. Who know what I'll be using in 6 months. Sad but true :)

Received my Belkin Qode Ultimate Keyboard case today and I am really liking this keyboard. I despised the Zagg keyboard I had and will now be returning it immediately.

As someone that has owned the Logitech Ultrathin for the iPad 3 and the 1st gen for the iPad 2, this is a nice change of pace. I really like the magnets on the Belkin for multiple viewing angles. The keyboard feels a bit small compared to the Zagg or Logitech, but the quality of the case makes up for it. The case is lighter than the Zagg and the aluminum is very sharp.

Any pics? :p Thinking about picking that or the zagg to replace the logitech ultrathin. Logitech really screwed up the new ultrathin this time around

I'd love to see some pics too. See how it compares to the Logitech Fabricskin I have. IMO, the Fabricskin blows away the Ultrathin.
