I've never had a driver issue with my VX Nano. Just download them from the Logitech website, and all is well.
However, I must say that I don't remember ever having to install drivers on my Mac before. If it has happened before, I certainly can't remember it. Other than that strange thing,
My VX Nano doesn't have a clickable scroll wheel button, but there's lots of other buttons on it. I use one of the other buttons programmed to act as an "Apple/Cmd + mouse click" (ie: a "new tab" button for Firefox). The scroll wheel also has horizontal scrolling just by tilting the scroll wheel left or right. Its supposed to be for horizontal scrolling, but I use it for quick scrolling up and down webpages and documents so that I don't have to use the scroll wheel.
Then there's the button just below the scroll wheel (with the magnifying glass). I use that to activate Spaces. The button below my Apple + Mouse button activates Exposé.

The MX revolution does have a clickable scroll wheel right? On my mouse right now i mainly use it to open links up in new windows which i've found to be real helpful
