The square camera module actually makes a difference this time.

I pre-ordered the green Pro Max and forest green leather case. The pic below is exactly how mines will look. A blue case sure wouldn't look right.

The green is definitely my favourite colour this year and it looks great with that leather case on!

I don’t use a traditional case, but a soft phone pouch (hard cases scuff the sides of the phone and are susceptible to dirt getting in between them and the phone). So colour matters to me, as when I’m using the phone you can see the back

You're absolutely right about PAST phones. This year there is the little caveat that the area around the cameras now matches the phone rather than being black. So you will see at least a little bit of the color even with a case.

If I were putting, for example a pink case on my phone... I wouldn't want a gold phone.... I'd want black or green. If I were putting a blue case... I'd want a silver phone. If I were putting a red case... I'd want black or silver.

I'm putting a clear case (unless I change my mind and go with a clear skin). But that's because I think the green is super pretty and "I" want to see it!

Funny because I personally don’t think pink goes with green, but does go with gold. But to each their own. 😀

I know, right? Especially if you’re a guy. You’re left with an obvious choice when you filter out the girl colours.

The girl colours are a concept from the last century. There are no rules. Plenty of men buy gold or white phones for example. You may not like them personally but that’s just you.

Yeah I am a guy and don’t get that. I remember when i had a rose gold phone. And a few ppl told me that it looked like a girl phone. Cause of the color. I just ignored them.

Actually this year it matters more than previous years. Every case i've seen has a square cutout for the camera, meaning if you bought midnight green and have a red case, it is gonna look pretty ugly.

if you go naked this doesn’t apply. For those with cases - why do you even care what color your phone is. It seriously makes zero difference. All fronts are black. I alway have a case and have got space grey every year. Sole reason is I know it will be available. Gold, rose gold, white back in the day, now potentially this new midnight green are always the first out when they introduce a new one. I’m just surprised about how big of a deal the color is when most cover it with a case.

yes, i would buy a white. i wouldnt use a case, if the body was functional - not a soapbox or having a glass. i only use a case to make it work which the designer failed to do.

The amount of hysteria over the new color green this year for the iPhone is astounding. That said, I actually really like it, I just have to see in person first before I make my decision. Altogether, I like that Apple added this specific color this year.

Blue does look right. I am considering either blue or green. I also ordered space gray.
