Has nothing to do with my masculinity. I don't want the big screen. I will get the 6. That was always my intentions. I never even thought about the women's iphone but think about it. I can only speak for myself and my geographic location. I'm in NJ. Most (not all) of the people I see with note phones are women and they are in purses (my wife had note 2 until I converted her to 5s). Just something for people to think about. Think about how many people you know or people you see on an every day basis. I bet you'd say I'm right. Kind of like how the gold 5s is usually women that have them. I don't look down or care if men have them as well personally I love the look of my wife's 5s on gold. Just saying I bet if they had stats for stuff like this it would be like 70% gold users are women. Same thing with the big phablets, 70% women. Is there anywhere to find stats like that?

Dude, WHAT are you even talking about??

LOL! Why the disappointment on the 6 Plus?

Responding to wxman above.

I'm new to this forum. So I apologize if you didn't know I was responding to wxman. I should have quoted what I was responding to.

When I got my white 5 I remember some people saying on here it was a chick's phone.

Now it's 4.7 (male) and 5.5 (female)

Whatever. Give me my 5.5 and a dress and I'll be on my way.

Who's disappointed?

Theres not really a significant voice or group of people disappointed....

The battery thing is a game changer and everything overall turned out better than we expected.

Maybe you should stop giving so much weight to what random Android ppl say or the thoughts of ppl who don't really keep up in detail with what is going on.

I don't care what people get. As long as they are happy. I was just wondering if there were stats (I'm sure apple knows this stuff) of what demographic uses what devices and then tailors certain devices, colors, etc.

If you saw a phone case with glitzy, shiny colors. You know that's meant for a girl. That's kind of what I'm alluding to

I disagree with this statement. There are plenty of boys/men that like glitzy shiny cases. To say they are for girls isn't fair. I have a straight brother in law who has a pink case on his phone and a son who wears pink hello kitty socks to school. To each their own. If someone is that worried about what someone else thinks of them I think they need to reevaluate some things in life.

I don't care if your brother is straight or not or why his some would wear pink hello kitty socks. To each their own. But let's not pretend that everyone has to personally agree with everyone's choices.

I have a 9 yr old boy. I would never let him go to school with pink hello kitty socks. That's my choice as a parent whether you or anyone else likes it is not my concern.

Some things are socially stereotyped whether you want to believe it or not.

I guess everyone here has never passed judgement on someone based on what they see. Right or wrong. We all do it. Now if you confront that person or make them feel ashamed about it, that's a different story and I don't condone that type of behavior at all.

Yeah. I know who you were responding to. But dude, WHAT are you even talking about?? Because wow.

I thought this was a forum to discuss ideas about a product we all obviously enjoy since were on this forum.

My friends brought something to my attention that I never thought about till they said it. And now I wonder if there are stats on that sort of thing.

That's what I'm talking about

I'm not disappointed. I'm having a hard time deciding which one I want... might end up with both!

Kids are going to be who they are - stifling the things that they enjoy isn't one of the things I'm going to do as a parent when it comes to perceived boy/girl things. He hurts no one by wearing something he enjoys and he understands not to care what others think. People who make fun of you or bully you aren't worth it to be around.

I agree that we all have passed judgment on someone, somewhat of a trait of being a human I think. Things are socially stereotyped, but I won't stereotype my children; my girl likes and does "boy" stuff and my son likes and does "girl stuff. Big deal.

Totally off topic here though haha.

Well, since it wasn't obvious from my previous post, you and your friends have some VERY strange ideas about genders and device preference.

I guess I'm not a good forum person. I feel like I'm being perceived as a jerk when all I really did was ask what others felt about what my friends said.

I wasn't trying to start trouble. Wasn't trying to put anyone down.

I will bow out of this thread now since I guess my words aren't coming out as I mean them

As long as I use my Samsung NOTE2, the screen smaller than 5.5 is too small for me... The proper size is just based on your custom. But remember, custom can be cultivated ...
