It seems though that clearing his cache did the trick. But I don't think it's the cache because it's been showing the Lion wallpapers ever since Lion came out. This just happened to me today.

its happening for me too. who knows if some update to the site didn't work or whatever. i'm sure it'll be changed as soon as its caught.

Yeah, I'm seeing the old images too even when bypassing the cache, but I wonder whether it was something similar that caused the old one to get into the cache in the first place.

Everything is now "Lion", but the Mac Mini still shows a disc drive. This must have been some weird error in the Akamai cache or something.
