I too have tried chronic but they didn't work out. Went to swiftunlocks and they were able to get my unlock going in a few days... Iphone 6 Plus.

Chronicunlocks replied with the usual stuff that there's a huge demand and they'll do it soon.obe of those auto replies. More than 2 weeks now and the phone isn't unlocked yet.

How many days did they stated on their website. If the business days are over, just keep emailing them to push.

I used to use unlockfusion.net and unlockusa.com. Never had any trouble with them, except that their prices are not that friendly to my wallet. I tried unlockagents.com recently and my iPhone 5 was unlocked in 2 days.

I'm not sure how long it could have been for the iPhone 6, but hey, their prices are ok.

2 more business days still left to go. But it's been a long wait of 18 days. The wait is tiring.

That's the reason i always used, 'theofficialunlocks' all the time as they always delivered in less than mentioned time. I wish your get unlock soon otherwise after 2 days they are going to give thousand of reasons.

I did not know about theofficialunlocks. 19 days of waiting and the iphone still not unlocked! Today's the last business day, 15th day. Frustrated.

Do let us know when it is unlocked. I hope you will get unlocked soon. Btw, don't be rush on reporting fraud to PayPal. Consult here first. And your review will help other users here who wants to unlock their phones as well.

I just got the Congratulations your phone is unlocked email. However there was no unlock code. Do I just insert a T mobile SIM to test if the phone is truly unlocked?

There is no unlock codes for iPhone activation. Just connect the device with iTunes or activate it using WiFi and the network will show up.

Just want to give 2 thumbs up for theoffcialunlocks! Paid for the service on Monday night and was unlocked by Thursday night. Tried it by putting a T-mobile sim and made a call. Works like a charm.

That's really good.
Stay away from Chronicunlocks! Avoid them like the plague. It's been 3 weeks plus and my phone hasn't been unlocked. Multiple mails but no reply.
I think I will have to ask for a refund. Or maybe a PayPal dispute is the only option left.

I sent them a mail asking them to cancel and refund. And they give back the same standard fixed reply that the service will take time. Whatever you mail them, it's the same standard reply you get, word to word. It's an automated reply coz there's no change in wordong at all.
Seems like that's money is gone for good.
Only option now seems to be raising a PayPal dispute. But I've heard that PayPal dsnt refund.

Due to the Cellular Telephone Industries Association's new standards on unlocking phones, most U.S. carriers will unlock their customer's devices on request starting today. Some of the carriers on board include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon.

These are the unlocking policies for the carriers on the code:

Feel sorry for your loss.

Ask them to issue refund as you cannot wait anymore.

They will if your contract is expired/phone paid off. I unlocked my iPhone 5 ATT for free by requesting it after 2 years on their service.

If you get your money back either by chronic or by PayPal please let us know. It would also be helpful for others.

I asked them to cancel and refund the money but they gave not even replied.
I have no option but to open a dispute with PayPal. But I've heard PayPal dsnt refund the money for virtual services. So this is where services like chronicunlocks make their money I guess.
Stay away from Chronicunlocks.

Most of these services may be quite unpredictable and while they are all quite reliable including Chronic and Swift as my top destinations I also try to use others who may be less overloaded with orders. I have recently been unlocking iPhone 6 At&t through AttUnlocker.us. But I use several always and try not to put all orders with the same service. Always juggling orders between a few services sine I buy and resell used iPhone off eBay so can't risk ordering all my unlocks from one service.

I believe "huge demand" is code for their contact who works at AT&T who they're paying under the table to unlock phones that shouldn't be unlocked got caught and fired and they haven't yet found a new patsy.

That's why I am unlocking all my contract phones now before they get caught :)

The other services are doing fine I guess. Chronicunlocks is horrible. I don't even know if I should open a PayPal dispute or wait longer. Because it is again putting ur trust and money in another unlocking service, all of whom I don't trust anymore.

I unlocked my iPhone 6+, which is under contract with AT&T, yesterday. I did it using the AT&T online form and was successful on the first try. I believe AT&T takes into account such things as how long you have had your account and your payment history (whether you pay your bills on time). If you have a long history with them and clean account I think they are more willing to unlock for you since there is less chance you will jump ship for another carrier.
