So glad to see this thread. I have been using Wunderlist, but you have to launch the app, find the list, press the screen and say what you want to add. A bit cumbersome. I had tried Siri reminders and could never get it to add groceries. I though it was an Apple Watch issue. However, I unpaired my watch with the phone and tried it again and it fixed the issue. I then shared the list so either of us could have the list available at the store.

I also added the Nano app so I could see the list on the watch. Very convenient way to add new stuff we need to pick up. :)
 
I have always used the built in Reminders app for my lists, downloaded the Reminders Nano and it works like a charm! I had always been able to add items to my shopping list but would have to access the list on my phone. With the Nano, the list is right there on my watch and as I pick up items I can check them off. Perfect!
