But I've seen the DLO case, a friend of mine has it for his iPhone.

Nice quality, and as long as you don't get it wet the smell shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe people sweat a lot.

I use the Belkin Leather also. I recently shopped for one with my daughter, and I feel it is still the best one out there.

I have the Belkin, not a huge fan. It is thick on the edges and makes it hard to type or hit buttons on the edge (like the a key or icons on the bottom right). I am going to get the hipcase and see how it goes
 
actually i got the dlo hipcase leather sleeve. It is very great, but I need the static screen protectors now.
