Actually thought about returning it, but I will give it some time to break-in. I am not going to sweat the $31.99. I almost cringe when the snap hits the phone everytime I take it out, but like you said, the snap is smooth and free of any sharp edges. And believe me, I don't baby my phones. This case would be perfect if it had a magnetic enclosure.

Still looking for more ideas.

Don't worry. The hinge part of the flap breaks in quite fast.

I worried about the snap on the flap scratching mine also at first. The snap is smooth and free of any sharp edges. I have my phone face in without any protective shield and have had no issues.

Velcro, no thanks.

Velcro, no thanks.

I can say that the incase folio works for the iPhone 4.

;) Always. It's a sickness.

I actually tried to avoid cases with magnets, but have been/am tempted to purchase a Beyza. Like the design...it has a magnet closure and quite the selection color wise but lacking the black with contrasting stitching.

Seideo makes one with magnets, but with open sides and it's rather just plain jane.

It sure is a sickness :)

The Beyza case is nice, but the lack of contrasting stitching is a major turnoff for me. Seido makes some nice products. I use the Spring Clip holster for use with non-cased device. I don't mind the open sides of the Seidio Premium leather holster, but it looks plain and bulky. Check out the DLO HipCase in my first post. All the corners are open. That makes for a nice, slim, form factor case. That was my go to holster when I got my 3GS last June and used it with my iPhone 4 for a while. Just got tired of the velcro enclosure.

Magnetic holsters are not recommended by Apple for use with the iPhone. From what I understand, that will only affect the compass, which I never use. Plus, the magnets they use in the cases are low grade kitchen type magnets, so no big deal.

Keep 'em coming :)

This is what I'm using, I got it off ebay and I liked it so good I bought a 2nd for a spare.
It holds my iPhone 4 perfect even with the bumper

I hope you are right, but I haven't really used the holster yet. Just a few dry runs in the house. That is my second thoughts kicking in.

And one of the major reason I like the Sena.

My prediction is the Laterale will grow on you.

Bump. The Sena Laterale is ok. Not overly fond of the shiny leather. I don't see it being any everyday holster. Still looking. Any more ideas?

It doesn't fit my criteria...horizontal leather holster with contrasting stitching. I will definitely consider other enclosures besides magnetic, but definitely not velcro.

Check out the marware one.

I had the magnetic one by Marware (CEO Premiere). It was my first holster, and I absolutely loved it - initially.

However, that soon changed. Within a few months, the leather surrounding the belt clip ripped...exposing the metal clip. It'd tear up my belt every time I put it on. Shortly after that, the side stitching started to give away...so the holster would no longer hold my case.

I absolutely LOVED the magnetic flap, but absolutely HATED the quality of it. If the quality is the same as it was 2yrs ago, there's no way I'd recommend this case.

I use the Sena Laterale. I have the black with contrasting stitching. The closure is a snap though, but I prefer it to a magnet. It will allow access to the sleep switch. Has a belt clip, but no ratchet mechanism.

If you order from Sena, don't forget to use the 20% off coupon. PCWIPNK11

Thanks. I just ordered this case.

I have the exact same one. Love it! It's broken in very nicely. Very slim and it's a snap to use :)

May I ask where you orders yours? I want one with the contrasting stitching.

I ordered it directly from Sena. I ended up returning the case due to the fact that I felt it was too small for my liking coming from a Case-Mate Hipster. I also didn't like the way I had to take the phone out of the case. It felt different from what I was use to. It's very well made, but it's just not my steez.

The case is perfect for me. Great form factor. The snap enclosure does take time to get used to. It's all good after the case breaks in.
