Well, the design is nearing a year old, so plus 4 = ______.

The MacBook will likely stay in that design for a while because it is the lowest-end model. But for the Pro users, I'd say this current design will see a major overhaul in two years or less given Apple's recent history.

Given Apple's history? To say that, you know nothing about the Apple's notebook design history. The aluminum Apple notebook design prior to the Unibodies lasted from 2003 to 2008. That's 5 years last time I checked. :p

They did some fairly different things throughout that, 2003 to 2006 would be the better breakdown, as in 2006 they did this little thing called Intel, i'd consider that design an overhaul: in addition to the new chipset, they added iSight, more speakers and MagSafe.

Good point, and that is quite a substantial update. Although the form factor and the general look of the notebook remained the same.
 
Hey guys I am really interested in buying a macbook pro 15" and I am going to be a junior in high school. Should I wait for a new line of macbooks or just buy one. when do you think they will remodel the macbooks again?

Your a junior in HS, i highly doubt you NEED a mbp. Id wait til college when you need one.
