Looking to buy iMac

I see on apple refurb there a base 2011 27 model and upgraded what should I go with or buy a new 2010 model with applecare.

Ill be watching apple refurb. I havent heard from the guy yet with the 2010 27 yet.Does anyone know someone or any websites that have a good deal on 2011 27 imac base model or the upgraded i5?

Well just bought a 2011 27 imac with applecare and everything for $1050 should receive next week excited!
 
Deal fell through on 2011 going to look and possibly buy 2010 27 2.8 i5, 4gb 1tb hdd, upgraded graphics radeon hd 5750 1gb what a good deal has box and everything?
 
Just bought the upgraded 2010 27 imac everything is mint like new the guy has every little thing from new and has applecare till end of 2014. Hope was a good deal what is this thing worth?

That's a great deal. That model has an extra sata on the motherboard if you want ssd hdd and optical. OWC sells a kit that I just threw in mine last weekend. Took stock 1 TB and conbined with a newly installed 256 g ssd. It rocks. Congrats.

As far as what it's worth - bare min 1300 to 1500.
 
Where to buy memory from for good deal for my 2010 imac 27"? What brands are good? What should I bump it up too?
 
Where the cheapest place to get memory? Should I go 16gb, 24gb or 32gb? Should I fill all 4 slots?

Ok well thinking 16gb or 24gb. So whatever I do should I fill all 4 slots then instead of 2? So I need ddr3 1333 mhz so dimms sdram? 204 pin nonparity?
