So, is this considered to be just an issue with the 6 and not the 6 Plus?

Ive had 5 replacements of the 6 ALL have had clicking issues. My 6 plus has zero issues and I got it release day

I work at a authorized apple retailer. We see this maybe 1-2 times about every 3 months. Doesn't seem like that big of a problem

I've had my Plus since October and always in an Apple case either the silicone or leather. I keep it in a purse when on the go. I notice no bending.

My recently in the last week or so, I've noticed the screen clicking intermittently. It's mainly in the top and bottom left corners. It doesn't do it all the time which is strange. Other than this very light clicking from time to time my phone is fine. I see that most people that mention this, get this fixed. I think I'm going to hold off and see if it gets more pronounced or happens all the time. I don't to make an appointment and the clicking isn't happening that day.

So my question is, is there a technical reason that it's important to get this fixed? Will this looseness with the screen cause other problems with my phone? I have Apple Care so I'm not worried so much about holding off due to the upcoming year mark.

Know this is an old thread, but I've gone through 3 iPhone 6 now and all click in the exact same spot. Lower right corner. Checked out 12 displays and exactly 6 clicked and those are the perfect screen "beautiful" display models. Im done getting it replaced. Mine does it, my gf, her moms and my sisters.

I have a great looking screen and a 6 Plus that works pretty good so I'm not so apt to bring it to the Genius Bar. If I keep my case on it there must be enough pressure to keep the screen snug as it doesn't click with the case on. This is not the same with all my cases. Thankfully it's my favorite case that keeps the clicking at bay.

Yeah I have an amazing battery on my 6 and I don't want a different phone. I Jailbreak too and restoring a new device thats JB is a pain. This defect is covered under the normal warranty btw. Mine clicks probably 20%. Sometimes an entire day goes by no clicking, other days it clicks a lot. Strange.

I got my 6 replaced last week (Express Replacement) I do not like to go to the store and waste 1-2 hours. The replacement phone clicks (by volume buttons) and they are sending me another and should be here today.

Honestly I think they all will click eventually, obviously apple does not care that much as its been there sine the iPhone 5.

Do what I do - I have found an awesome thin Ana lightweight TPU case that I have in black and frost. My 6 Plus never clicks while in these cases. I'll keep mine.

Hmmm...I swapped by Nexus 6 for a 64GB iPhone 6 last week and noticed the same thing once I got home. It doesn't bother me much at all but since it's under warranty until 05/2016 and it's a known issue, I may make a Genius Bar appointment. But I soooooo hate going downtown Charleston to the Genius Bar. :(

Can you send the link? Cant find it on google
I meant thin and lightweight not "Ana". I have tried so many cases including both Apple leather and silicone. By far my absolute favorite is the plain TPU case sold by Staples. I have it in both black and frost. The thin case just barely comes above the camera lens but is snug enough to keep both my upper and lower left corners from clicking. Only time I feel the clicking is when I take the case off to swap colors.

Had the same problem with my former 6+, had it replaced like 6 times. Was so annoying. Glad I got rid of it completely.

I'm on my third 6 Plus now for a myriad of reasons, but none of them due to screen clicking. On the other hand, I had two iPhone 5's which did click and it was quite irritating.

My experience with Apple iPhone 6, this is my letter to Applecare:

On Monday I received the replacement device for my iPhone 6. As you can see from my case, I have replaced this phone 1st time in Service center 14.05.2015 (when I have been using the faulty phone that had the front camera shifted for 1/2 a year). After this I have been receiving replacement devices which all were faulty more than 8 times with all different sort of problems, but mostly front camera crescent, cracks, some objects inside front camera and moving screen. Apple service center has checked and confirmed each and every fault I have had.

Since I felt that the Service center cannot help me, I returned the device directly to you - Applecare. You replaced the phone 3 times. Sending brand new faulty phones back to me. In total I spent 60 days replacing the production wasters.

The phone I have now, this replacement, has the screen not fitted properly, so it moves when gently press on it near the volume buttons (I went into a shop today and checked other phones there, they don't do that of course) ..

Now I am not sure if the camera will shift forming a crescent in near future or anything else bad will show up to the replacement you sent me.. But what I am absolutely sure is that Apple iPhone 6 is the worst quality product I have ever had and there is no point really in replacing the phone, since it comes back faulty with the same or some other problem. Except a strong feeling that I want to have a quality product Apple promises, but doesn't deliver.

So, basically, even though you have replaced the device more than 10 times, I am very unhappy with the result, since I still have a faulty device. It is working for now, so I will replace it later (probably) as well as (probably) place a complaint to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre, but I am just sick and tired of the process for now and can't be bothered on paying the lawyer and spending any more time on this currently.

So, truly, this is the worst device I have ever had. Since it is faulty to start with and it gets replaced by factory wasters.

I can only throw out the phones of course, but that is stupid and does not really make sense, since it is quite expensive, as well as I bought everything Apple last year November - phones, iPad, tv, airport, macbook etc. and they are supposed to work best together.

I thank you all for your kind patience and understanding. The service you provided was outstanding.
I can only feel for you, that you have to service the lowest possible quality product.
Have a very nice day.

p.s.

Just to mention - during the same time, my wife's iPhone 6 was replaced 4 times due to cracks and screen movement. The screen moves also now on the replacement device, but I am simply sick and tired of continuing the replacement process since it proves to be pointless. So as I said, the device is clearly faulty, but I will proceed maybe later.. However probably pointless. Also - I replaced iPad air 2 twice at the service center due to production faults.

kabii, are you starved for attention? You've posted the same letter in three different threads.

I am sorry for this. I am not aware of how forums exactly work. It is just that I had a problem that is discussed in all of these threads. So I posted. But trust me, I would be very glad if the 1st phone that I bought would have been quality. This way I would never have to attract any attention.

This iPhone problem happened to me, this "iphone screen 6 slightly loose" problem... I have had many iPhones never this happened before... It is good to know that I go to the store and repair it without charges... but that is an alert for the lack of quality issue...

there is also the click sound issue... shame on you Apple

Just had my 6+ sent off for the same issue but replicated in the top LH corner intermittently. Now being shipped back to me as they 'couldn't reproduce the symptom'. It will most likely come back with the issue still occurring so looks like I'll have to trek up to the nearest store to have it looked at.

Unfortunately the iPhone 6 really seems to be more delicate than its predecessor. I've always have been ultra careful with all my iPhones, and with the latter, the iPhone 6, I had this bad experience.

The good news is that Apple replace it my defective iPhone 6 for a new one. But I don't trust this equipment, I really wish to change for the iPhone 6S as soon as possible.

My Iphone 6 was clicking like mad that i had replaced by apple a few days ago.

Right at the bottom of the screen. I had just applied an expensive screen protector too.

So i have some screw drivers for Apple phones and i unscrewed the 2 at bottom, and it clicked a lot more. Pressing down i screwed them back in a little tighter and hey presto! No more clicking in fact my screen is now super solid all way round.

Maybe worth a try but be gentle dont wear the screws else they might refuse you for tampering but my screws are fine no issues.

Worth a try of you have the right screwdriver!!

Stumbled across this thread, my new iPhone 6 has a noticeable (can feel and hear it) click when I push down on or lightly squeeze the bottom right corner of the device.

It's only on the bezel though, not the actual screen. Won't be rushing back to the store though, everything looks flush and it doesn't affect usability or functionality.
