At least you know M$ is telling half truths....BlackBerry as mass consumer product is on life support. Just look at their Torch handheld, that flamed out quickly (PUN INTENDED). But Apple is just Apple and M$ can't compete with such brand loyalty.

Talking about handhelds that flamed out quickly....Kin one and two were just put to sleep, they are buried next to Windows 98, 2000, ME and Vista.

i don't understand what gives microsoft the confidence that it will be able to compete with apple. from what i've seen of the windows phone 7 i'm not impressed. for example, the home screen: everything is green; some of the icons are larger than others giving it an overall messy look; the text is truncated; not enough icons fit on the screen and thus you'll be doing a lot of scrolling.
 
HAHA that is amazing. I also looked at some photos of the new OS, and it was giving me a headache. No way I could use that, with all the cut off text and the busy, messy looking screens. It just looks like they were trying too hard.
