I don't know guys, how can anyone compete with this app? :p

This shows just very bad taste. Microsoft shows no respect for the competition and actually this is very sad. Windows Phone 7 is definitely a good OS that still has a lot of room left for improvement. It is a young OS that needs to mature. When that happens it could become a competition to Android and iOS, not before...
Anyway, as I said the whole parade is just tasteless.

This is sad on soooo many levels.

Also,

Just one more reason why I know I made the right decision to chuck Windows specifically and Microsoft in general.

A lot of people complained about Apple's Mac vs. PC adverts once they got long in the tooth (even myself) but they were usually benign if not extremely funny. Apple PR is this way in general. Microsoft has been at the center of one PR FAIL after another of late...surely can't they afford better?

Also, they danced Thriller

I'm a Michael Jackson fan and eww... just eww.

But saying that the competition is dead before they even release the product is just stupid. I really hope that Windows Phone 7 fails just so I can make fun of them for that :p

But it is going to be interesting on how Windows Phone 7 performs when it is released.

*facepalm*
they've updated the article, it seems they also performed a very uncoordinated rendition of thriller.
Oh Picard, where are you when I need you. (also, I didn't know Picard was in the word correct dictionary of the iPhone, that's pretty cool)

There are no words.......

When I used to go to camp, we would put on better events with only construction paper, paint, and sparkles. My camp isn't a multi-billion dollar company.

It's amazing how Microsoft is so stuffy and overly corporate about the wrong things, but cuts loose on immature & unprofessional tripe like this.

Fellow MJ fan here - music/videos (not his personal life). I just hope microsoft paid top dollar for royalty rights to play that Thriller track in public for a public performance ( if not then they should be sued by the family for mis representation).

Win7 will take a long long time to catch up to iphone/android devices and with serious developers offering inviting applications. No doubt as popularity gains many iphone developers will go cross platform to maximize their cash flow.

I was in Portland, Oregon, Labor Day on a business trip. I happened to run across an Apple store. I popped in just to see if they had the new iPod Touch yet.

2pm... on a beautiful sunny holiday when people should be out of town, on the river, or at the beach and the store was packed... I mean swarming, crazy, elbow-to-elbow PACKED.

How do you like them Apples, Microsoft?

Thriller?

Trekkies?

1980s!

Sorry, losers, but it's 2010 ...

and the closest thing to an iPhone "killer" is an iPhone(4).

I'm embarrassed for everyone associated with that pathetic Glee-fail.
