Not really. By airing this out in the open you have put that mod in a difficult position. They don't have to defend their actions to anyone except the admins and the other mods yet you continually ask them to debate their actions in an open forum. If I were asked to do this on the forum I mod for, I would quit. Take it up in private but Doctor Q has given a more than satisfactory explanation, IMO.

Okay folks, I have had some of the best times on this site, the early 2000s were the best, but this just isn't fun anymore. Arn can you please delete my account and remove the content I have posted.. If I was a spammer I think would have done more than 3 posts remember this happened many months ago. You can keep the infractions and power trips but I don't want be here anymore.

When you join a community, a good idea is to behave the way the community expects. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

in this case, if you have issues with moderation, you can contact them privately and present your case.

FWIW, I doubt any poster who is active has not at one time or another been contacted by a Mod or God regarding one or more of their posts. It happens and you deal with it.

And no, I will not private message my concerns.

IMHO, that is not being smart in this case. YMMV.

I've been registered on this site for 7 plus years, but lurking since around it was formed. Enjoyable site.

Neither did you so how can you say. Maybe we should invite the "mod" who did this for her opinion ...

The Mods operate as a team.

They do this work as volunteers. Each Mod is a human and therefore will have a different way of rebuking a violator.

My suggestion is that you live, learn and move on.

What we need is an ombudsmen to oversee the moderation practices on this board. Ardent, sheeple supporters of MR will point out that this is a privately-owned board and they can do anything they please because such, as a counter to any arguments or complaints about this board. Pity.

Quoted for truth. I've seen that happen several times. And yet when people have the same attitude towards Apple (or another company), they're labeled "fanboys."

Oh and I don't have a problem with the mods.
