I agree with you about the Apple Pay part.

I have to re-verify with both my banks to add my cards all over again to Apple Pay on the Watch. Definitely a pain!

I'd double check the magnet area of the charger for the plastic sticker. I didn't see it at first, either. It's easy to miss.

#1: the way apple pay works is by creating an authentication token that is device-specific and using that instead of an actual credit card number. There are a lot of reasons this is much more secure, but it does mean you need to generate a new token on each device. It is a small price to pay for the benefits from this very clever model apple is employing

#2: that doesn't sound good... And from the replies, it looks like you might have a bad battery or something as you seem to be in the minority. Maybe call apple?

lots of disappointment on day 1

Have the same trouble as hoon2999. Applewatch and Iphone applepay do not sync as the video had shown. Have to add one credit card one by one.
Just cannot believe that I need to call the credit card company to verify the porocess. At the end, I just get the credit card I used most on it.

Starbucks card however will get synced.

1) You can use a complex password on Apple Watch. And then choose to unlock your Apple Watch with the Touch ID on your iPhone. This makes your watch as secure as your iPhone.

Awesome! I knew I could use a longer passcode but I did not know that while wearing watch unlocking iPhone also unlocked the watch if it was locked from removing it. Just tried it out and it worked, Very cool. Thanks!
