TONS of people buying a front screen only from ZAGG, and paying an extra 10 to have "Geek Squad" install it. Total of $40. I was laughing and explaining to the guy behind me you can pay less than half of that online for a front + back screen and just "install" it yourself.

I don't know why people throw their money away like that. Oh wait now I do, because they don't do research. People in line didn't even know the difference between Wifi and 3G. ROFL.

Even funnier is the fact that you care. Are you like a clown who runs around to different stores playing the smart consumer and tell people how they can save money. What a lame. Go play loser!

Sucker, huh? I got my MacBook Pro at Best Buy and their customer service was outstanding. I got a BB extended warranty, had them install my Zagg shield and most important, my anti-virus protection. Well worth the extra $300. Would Apple provide that kind of service, I think not. Oh yeah, I also got a $80 HDMI cable for $50. Suckers indeed.

I'm having the geek squad over today to set up my MacBook Pro with my external mouse and keyboard. Does Apple offer in home installs like that?

Wonder how many will take this seriously.

priceless "sucker huh?" post ... love the Geek Squad coming over part

The BB I was at they were trying hard to sell the MiFi's. When the guy asked me I was so confused at the stupidity of it that I thought I had heard it wrong. They were also heavily pushing their buy back plan. It was something like $40 ($30 off the normal $70 rip-off!) to opt-in and they would buy it back for 50% of the retail price within 6 months, and 40% within 12 months. The guy actually said to me he was surprised people weren't getting it. Apparently he isn't good at math and hasn't heard of eBay or craigslist. On a $500 16 Gig model, you pay $40 up front, and within 6 months if you decide to use the buyback, you get $250. So basically minus the buy-in for the program, you would get $210 for a 6 month old device that you could easily sell for $400-450 on eBay. If you waited a year until the new iPad came out, you would net $160 on something you could easily get $350-400 for. Not only that, they give you the money in the form of a BB gift card, so that money goes right back to them. That's just plain retarded and a massive rip-off. Not only that, if you decide to not sell your iPad to them, you've already given them $40 (Or $70 at normal price) for nothing.

Why go through all that hassle of waiting in line???

Just order online and have it brought to your house!
