I'll be more than happy to report back tomorrow and after a week.

Sorry to burst your bubble but check the other threads on here re fingerprint scanner and you will see the problems people are having. Hopefully it will be a software update by Apple as i do like it but when its not working or you have to do it a few times its very frustrating. Seems weird for some people it works some doesn't. Time will tell.

I'm not sure what you guys mean by expensive. If I chose 10 GB of data with any of the new plans, I'd be looking at double the price. And I'd still be stuck with limited data.

My phone bill after taxes and fees and corp discount is just shy of $110. For unlimited everything from the best carrier is a great price IMO. Not to mention my LTE is always around 50 Mbps.

Yes, people always says T-mobile this or that, but at the end of the day there's a reason why I switched from T-mobile a few years ago and will never go back. It sucked. I almost NEVER had reception.

Also, I'm not sure what you guys mean by "true unlimited". I usually go well beyond 30 GB per month on my Verizon iPhone. What exactly is "not truly unlimited" about it? I don't get it.

What do you do on your phone that 50Mb/s is a good thing? apple forces you to use wifi for apps over 100mb, so what does one need 50Mb/s for? Speedtest?

Surfing web, downloading images, steaming videos and more. The faster the better. Noticeable different in daily use after going from HSPA+ to LTE.

I have to agree, touch ID works nearly always for me and is the most important feature on the 5S.

Works on the first try about 90% of the time, and I've only had it fail 3 times since I got it on launch day. If it doesn't read after a few tries then it makes me enter the passcode.

I had a complex passcode that I had to enter all the time (security policy set by an Exchange account required it).

I don't notice any difference between my 7mb/s and my schools 25mb/s wifi

I'm not trying to start an argument here! I'm genuinely interested in how the prices here in the UK compare to those in the US.

To me the price you pay is expensive. £1069 ($1734) is expensive enough so I can't even entertain the thought of paying nearly double that. Though I now know that compared to a new plan it's good value for you - thanks for explaining.

Regarding the truly unlimited comment: I was talking about the plan in the UK. With this plan you get 2000 minutes, 5000 texts - which may as well be unlimited because I wouldn't even get near those levels - and unlimited data. I put the truly in because there really is no limits. Some of the plans here start capping when you exceed a certain amount. I understand that you also get truly unlimited data and I didn't suggest otherwise.

Then you are fine. Some of us notice and we want it really fast.

Ive had mine for about a week now. Works amazing and still amazes me. Such a great piece of technology.

Sliced Bread?

Have you ever had a real loaf of something like Rye or Pumpernickel? Cut it yourself and every slice is fresh and pungent.

You sure you got the analogy right?

I'm sure touch ID rocks, but sliced bread. Depravity.

:)

Well, as promised, I'm reporting back on my experience with the 5S fingerprint scanner after 3 days of use.

It's still as amazing as it was one day 1! By now, I probably went through 100 unlocks. It works 100% of the time. Never once disappointed me.

For those wondering, I'm 6'1" at 170 lbs. My hands are bigger than average. This thing is flawless. I love every second of it. It saves me a lot of time. I can't see myself EVER punching in numbers again to unlock a phone.

Maybe it's a bad thing to have gotten used to something this awesome and convenient. But whatever. I freakin love it!

By far the best thing since sliced bread.

Very happy customer here too. My company insists on a 8 digit pass code for the iPhone. Now I just scan my finger! Massive upside. My only wish is that if anyone else tried it that it would say in big red text "Access denied":)

Best regards.

Josh

I love it, feel better now that I've set a more secure, longer password as backup.

Now you don't have to worry about people watching over your shoulder either!
