Have to say that I am really impressed with the keyboard so far, but am surprised at the weight, the iPad feels Like my 2015 MacBook Pro when it is in the hand.

Yes, the weight IMO is ridiculous. I’d say the apple keyboard is way better for smaller spaces and lap, this case is better for desk. I do love the fact that it has protection when i take it off the keyboard. I keep my iPad for years so it gives me a good piece of mind knowing it’s protected. Yes I have apple care but the coverage is only 2 years and I tend to keep my stuff for 4-5 years.

I would have said the very same. The weight took a bit of getting used to but hasn't been a problem for me.

I would have said the very same. The weight took a bit of getting used to but hasn't been a problem for me.

it will mainly be used on a desk or table, unless I detach it for tablet mode. I have some distanced shoots coming up, one of which is 2x 2hr train journeys, so will be interesting to see how the weight is in my kitbag that has a section for a 15” laptop. At least now I will be able to work on photos when away from home and the card reader I got today, plugs in nicely with the case on.
